I am fully vaccinated with Moderna and seeing 90% of people in Fred Meyer yesterday still wearing masks is just bizarre. Either the vaccines work, or they don’t.

Statistically, the vaccines work about 95% of the time. Unfortunately, there's no way to know whether you are in the 5% or the 95%. And there is certainly no way to know whether the person near you is safe or not.

So if you don't feel that your freedom is destroyed by putting a mask on, then you might just choose to keep wearing it. Among other things, it appears to reduce your chances of getting a cold or the flu, and that's not a bad thing.

I took business courses in college and they say you need a nest egg to carry you through 3 years of economic depression to have a successful business and you need to afford to hang in there throughout those times....restaurants have always been a bad month away from closing down....that's not changed.

He botched this more than he did AIDS in the 1980s, but that didn’t stop him from doing photo shoots last summer and with people from outside your household without it a mask as people were dying every day alone and unable to see friends and family, or even have a funeral for those who died.

Didn’t say anything about my freedom, and cloth masks are basically Petri dishes of bacteria after a few days and do more harm than good if not regularly washed.

Doesn’t bother me if people keep wearing masks, though. I’m in good shape and haven’t been “sick” since a norovirus outbreak at my fraternity in college years ago.

Steve Edwards, CEO of CoxHealth, tweeted Monday that his hospital was treating 48 COVID-19 patients, including two who were 16 years old, and the Delta variant was to blame.

“Those that aren’t vaccinated are sitting ducks,” Edwards wrote

BS. He didn't lie about anything. He said N95 masks aren't going to protect the average wearer.

And data backs that up. Most people screw with it too much and don't wear it correctly. It does prevent trained medical personnel from infection though...

And we still had PPE shortages early on, with hospitals buying PPE on the black market and meeting dealers in abandoned warehouses, etc.
