Good point. I guess I've just given up on that as a possibility, so I don't even consider it as a part of the equation.

From what I've been reading it seems like it's better to get the vaccine then get the virus itself.

The vaccine prevents you from getting really sick and the virus really pumps up the immune system.

So I'm going to head over for @Orion Bailey's horse tranquilizer & PCP party, get high and kiss him!

My 11 year old niece just tested positive in Southern Oregon. That sister of mine is one of the crazy anti-vaxxers, and lives at my parent's house, which is super bad news. My dad has hepatitis C and diabetes, and my mom is not in a good age range for covid. At least my parents are vaccinated. This is a scary moment though. Southern Oregon is a hellhole.

Man, sorry to hear this, PT. I hope the vaccines do their work. I wonder if your parents’ doctor would give them a prescription for the booster right now given the circumstances.

@theprunetang if this doesn't work tell your parents to drive to California and get vaccinated for the first time. Show up to a Walgreens and say you don't have insurance.

is there no way to get your sis/kid or parents out of the house temporarily? or at least have them sequester in one portion/floor of the house?
