This is way overdue. For a lot more than just flying quite frankly.

I'd prefer paying vaccinated people $1k per shot first, but if that doesn't get the numbers up enough I would support mandates and either way, we need more of a focus on vaccinating the rest of the world as well. Whatever financial investment that takes.

And enforced immediate quarantine of anyone who tests positive?

Testing doesn't do shit if you just ignore the results.

National system for storing and sharing test results, done weekly. Required of anyone wanting to do anything.

Because that would be too much of a hassle and take too long.

Just lock the door and let anybody in who has a digital vaccine card on Google pay or Apple pay.

Allow only 1 person through at a time.

This could be incredibly simple.

And trying to violate or cheat should get you thrown in jail at which point you should be vaccinated, as all criminals in jail should be to prevent outbreaks in jail.

Way more unvaccinated persons are getting and spreading it.

Not all drunk drivers crash, and some sober people crash. But that isn't a sensible reason to allow drunk driving.

In the past, but that is likely not true now as vaccination doesn't do much of anything against omicron

You will catch most asymptomatic spreaders and keep people who test positive out. It's not foolproof but makes more sense than vaccine passports. They will be essentially useless in a few months

Vaccinated people are far less likely to become infected than unvaccinated. And boosters are highly effective against Omicron for at least a couple months.
