Last weekend of Feb! I actually made plans to meet up with a few friends that weekend too. Oh well.
Girls night out at a Metalica concert....bring out the spandex and hair weaves and let the lady have her fun! (you didn't think I was talking about her with the spandex and hair weaves did you?) I figured you'd be in LA so....just another night out eh!

I'm going vegas 2 weeks after Hawaii to see Metallica.

May see KT Tunstall in Honolulu

Sorry. Covid burnout. I am just so tired of America being the Land Of The Stupid for half the population. The antivaxxers thump their chests and proclaim their freedom, then whine, cry and beg for help when their stupidity bites them in the ass. Cull the herd and maybe we actually CAN actually make America “great” again……with freedom comes accountability…..or in some cases, illness and death. I sincerely admire you for your compassion for and service to others, and God bless you for it. But I personally just got tired of pissing into the wind………

"To resist is to piss in the wind.
Anyone who does will end up smelling.

Knowing this why do I defy?
'cause my inner voice is yelling."

It's not completely about what you're talking/feeling but it reminded me of the song "out from under" by incubus.

For those who still want to argue against vaccines……..my cousin is one of my closest friends, despite the fact that he is almost Maris level conservative. Throughout the pandemic he has flatly refused the vaccine, saying that he knows and trusts his body, and that the whole pandemic was a politically ginned up conspiracy. His wife (a nurse) got the vaccine way back. Over Xmas, she came down with the Omicron variant and was mildly sick for 5 days. As soon as she recovered, my unvaccinated cousin came down with it and was sicker than a dog/bedridden for 12 full days. He is still struggling with the aftermath and his lungs continue to be affected. I (with Herculean effort) refrained from saying, “I told you so.” But if anyone wants a to argue against vaccines, fuck ‘em. The vaccine didn’t prevent my cousin’s wife from getting the virus, but it definitely made it a much less serious ordeal. Why is that so fucking hard for so many people to grasp???

Sorry your cousin got so sick. Hope he recovers completely very soon.

One thing you might, if you can, want to mention to him is that there are studies that show people who get vaccinated after having covid have super immunity.

I got vaxxed because I don't trust my immune system. I hate being sick.

What are the chances the next variant is a mixture of deltas deadliness and ómicron level of contagiousness (did I just make up a word?)

Be prepared :breakdance:
