I don’t know much of anything about that. This is what I did see:

“FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn explained during the press conference it would be allowed under what’s known “compassionate use” -- where doctors can request to use the experimental drug and get permission from the FDA to give to patients. Hahn also said he didn't want to give "false hope" but said he was hopeful about the treatments.”

The buck has to stop with the president.

If he can't even provide accurate information during a news conference it needs to be called it.

If you watched the stock ticker that was displayed during his news conference you can see there was a live and direct effect over what he was saying. The market went up when he was talking. It's imperative that the information that he provides is accurate. Otherwise it's just propaganda.

Also when information is provided that contradicts the information provided the president it has to been stated clearly why that information is being put out and why it goes against what the president said. That needs to be done to draw more attention to the correct or accurate information.

It actually wouldn't surprise me. The Trump administration has control over nothing. Now they have concerns over the internet crashing which would be a real shit show!

I can’t even imagine (still, going back two years now saying this) in any way, however so slightly even defending Trump. It’s incredible. He is such a fucking clown and now flat out endangering the lives of people by what he has said and done but no he’s misunderstood and it’s not his fault. Jesus Christ

Sly, I clearly said I have no problems with pointing out Trump’s many mistakes. What I objected to at the start of my quixotic posting this morning is that they were seemingly spending ALL of their efforts on that instead of covering the important news issued by the FDA that they ARE studying the drug and will be granting approval of its use on a case by case basis. That is the important news, not that Trump muffed the message again.

It's not the press' job to prop up the POTUS...he's supposed to act like and speak as the leader of the free world for christ sakes.

Stop being obtuse. It’s the press’s job to impart information. They could simply have said, “The president is wrong yet again. The FDA has not given outright approval of this drug for COVID-19, but is allowing it on a case-by-case basis when requested by a physician.” Impart actual important information, not just “Trump is a dickhead and we hate him!”

It seems to me that you and others are working really hard not to understand what I am saying. All I saw this morning was “Trump is wrong!” relative to the drug approval. This, despite the fact AT THE SAME PRESS CONFERRNCE the head of the FDA explained what the correct information was. How is the press doing its job when it omits the important part of the story?

Those Samurai skills will only help if you are facing a bunch of unarmed Samurai's and there's not many of them around.

I'm not going to go around in a riot. I've got better sense than that. I live in a pretty isolated/safe community as well.

While I'm bored, I'll probably youtube knife/sword excercises on youtube and do them. Practice the throwing knives, etc.
