I hope it’s like SARS and MERS where it eventually just goes away
We can only hope.

My goodness...no, we're not all using the same info/graphs. The one I posted is from a completely different site, and it shows that when Tennessee decided to open up again they had just had "5 successive days of a large sudden spike" in the number of
new cases"...sorry, but that's not "leveling off" and it is certainly not within the "14-15 day" time period prescribed by the Fed.
Reread @wizenheimer 's post #8620, he even says that there's a lot of ways to look at some of this data and different parameters.
This is part of what I tried to explain about "misinformation" in my previous post...and i don't see why it needed explaining again for about the FIFTH time.

The problem isn't the testing...the problem is that Tennessee is not even close to "flattening the curve".

That is completely dependent on the input. In some cases, garbage in, = garbage out.
Oh, yeah, I know what you're talking about.
I'm only referencing the overabundance of info we're given sometimes online thru the net/twitter/facebook, et al, and it's hard to wade through what's real and what's not...there's so much of it that it can become very confusing as far as what to believe and what not to believe.
Like I've said before, there's a lot of information on covid19, but there's even more misinformation.
I just like seeing innovation. Not sure how well this would work, but at least casinos are trying to innovate in some way.Gonna make it harder for the dealers to hit you
Watch the cases skyrocket! So I understand in Oregon, non essential surgeries, hospitals, doctor office's and dentist can open Friday with adherence to certain SD rules.
Thats super!
cases will rise till either a vaccine or herd immunity.Watch the cases skyrocket!
That's the way it SHOULD be. The founding fathers set it up so that the States would have more power.Trump literally gave away his leadership role to governors during this pandemic. Trump could have shown leadership, but instead handed it off to others when the going got tough, then he sits back and decries fake news while bashing those same governors that he handed his power to.
In other words: Trump wussed out.

I was thinking that as well. Even money in casinos. They aren't addressing the main point - the chips. Those are the nastiest of it all.
That is true, I heard a doctor say it!The “never be a vaccine” is based on no corona virus, common cold, SARS1, MERS had a vaccine made. It’s actually a legitimate concern.
I believe you to be wrong in this as, the post below is the one we are discussing and the link you provided. If you are refering to another graph, I am not.
Not sure I would find these as explanations as I would just statements....
Those are the only posts you made in the discussion at this time and it was almost an about face from previous posts.
Anyhow, I apologize for not understanding your explanation and the direction you went.
I still don't think you are getting how the laws of percentages works and how the graph is misleading you (it even says so in the link you provided that Platy pointed out that was missed or dismissed).
It seems the point about increased testing can affect increased numbers even when the percent is on the decline is being missed.
We will have to agree to disagree and move on.
Gonna make it harder for the patron's to to hit the dealers
I think cup might be right.

Yup, he was right...and thank you, I will carry on.Whatever helps you deflect, is alright with me. Carry on.

I endorse this post!!!!!
Now can I get a notarized affadavit I can give to my wife with that recommendation.![]()

I'm on the fence as far as the weasel word of the month...torn between "sensationalism". and "deflect"....very close race.
Ive heard several docs say the never came up with a vaccine for SAR's. It just pudoed out. That sounds like trump as his response to most questions is maybe it will, maybe it won't. We will just have to see. He inspires such confidence
I'm not sure how I feel about this though. On one hand, I think states should have more authority to act in their best interest in general. So a president saying let states decide what's best for them I actually, "like" that approach. On the other hand, it was totally a political game where if a governor messes up (whatever that means) he can claim he wasn't responsible for it. So yes it was definitely politics and handing responsibility off, I think you're right.Trump literally gave away his leadership role to governors during this pandemic. Trump could have shown leadership, but instead handed it off to others when the going got tough, then he sits back and decries fake news while bashing those same governors that he handed his power to.
