I believe you to be wrong in this as, the post below is the one we are discussing and the link you provided. If you are refering to another graph, I am not.

I'm only referencing the overabundance of info we're given sometimes online thru the net/twitter/facebook, et al, and it's hard to wade through what's real and what's not...there's so much of it that it can become very confusing as far as what to believe and what not to believe.

Anyhow, I apologize for not understanding your explanation and the direction you went.


I still don't think you are getting how the laws of percentages works and how the graph is misleading you (it even says so in the link you provided that Platy pointed out that was missed or dismissed).

It seems the point about increased testing can affect increased numbers even when the percent is on the decline is being missed.

We will have to agree to disagree and move on.
 
So I understand in Oregon, non essential surgeries, hospitals, doctor office's and dentist can open Friday with adherence to certain SD rules.

That's the way it SHOULD be. The founding fathers set it up so that the States would have more power.

I was simply trying to have a discussion about the graph and link you posted and how it could be skewed based on percentages. Not by information, but by percentages of those being tested. I apologize if you are not able to have this conversation about something you posted.

Yes and no. The feds need to set up a standard system for testing and make sure all states are using the same methods and analysis so the number actually have some meaning. The feds should be making sure every state has adequate supplies to perform the job necessary as well as the proper process of who and when to test and all we hear from this administration is we are so far advanced in testing processes and supplies and all I ever hear from hospital people is that they are still lacking supplies and testing materials. All this administration wants to do is do a press rally and pat each other on the back on how great they are.

I'm on the fence as far as the weasel word of the month...torn between "sensationalism". and "deflect"....very close race.

Ive heard several docs say the never came up with a vaccine for SAR's. It just pudoed out.

I'm not sure how I feel about this though. On one hand, I think states should have more authority to act in their best interest in general. So a president saying let states decide what's best for them I actually, "like" that approach. On the other hand, it was totally a political game where if a governor messes up (whatever that means) he can claim he wasn't responsible for it. So yes it was definitely politics and handing responsibility off, I think you're right.
