LOL, so many restaurants may as well permanently close now.



I got my haircut yesterday because they will probably shut those down again.

I think my gym is as safe as Safeway.
Appoint only, mask, equipment spaced very good. They limit works outs to 1 hour then a crew spends 1/2 hours disinfecting.
Todays observation, becasue the equipment is space all younger people didn't wear mask , while working out, as its part of the policy. I asked today if the new law that mask must be worn inside period.
Was told if they receive a report that someone tested positive everyone will be notified.
Was told they have not received orders from company or State but I bet they dom soon. I'm actually impressed with the how they are abiding by the phase one rules.
They also have a senior hour from 2-3pm that doesn't require an appt.
Overall when I go it's about 1/4 of the people that are usually there as its governed.

The new requirement to wear a mask in public in Oregon took effect today, Wednesday, July 01, 2020.

I know, and I ask and they have yet to receive an official order either from Corporate or The State. Im sure they will very soon though.
 
unfortunately I feel pessimistic that the mask order will work, or rather that the people will follow it

I'd think the biggest issue would be virus micro droplets in the air. Unless they have really good ventilation/filtration, having that many people exercising and breathing hard, mostly without masks, is going to leave a lot of crap floating in the air. I'd rather spend a few bucks on some exercise equipment for home.

I love the imagery of people being locked-down at home on the 4th of July, unable to go gather together, no beaches, no restaurants, no fireworks. As this happens, more civil unrest and protests invade the streets as thousands of lawless thugs gather to destroy property and assault citizens while the police have their hands tied by liberal governors.

At first I was gonna reply with a LOL but upon more thought I'm leaning toward concurring. In any event, spreading the disease to anyone endangers my life so I'm for whatever means are necessary although I don't think this is a job for the police.
