there have been quite a bit of false positive/negative results lately. Much of it is attributed to the rush to get fast results. Supposedly, protocol processes can break down easily along the chain. Reads like OSU may have had some sloppy protocols. IIRC, the molecular tests have a much lower rate of false results, but take longer to get results. It's unclear if the student received a molecular test or an an antigen test that looks for Covid protein signatures on cells, although I'd guess it was the 2nd
