I tried to get a Pfizer booster shot when I had a doctor appointment at the VA Friday. They are not giving boosters at this time.
Apparently I am nearly deaf in the right ear and hearing compromised in the left ear. Now the VA is giving me hearing aids. When it rains it pours and getting old ain't for wimps.
 
Wife and I spent a couple nights at Fort Stevens with Grandkids this past week-end and the camp was full. I didnt see 1 mask in the three days at the park other than the check - in staff.

Just found out a couple of my anti mask/anti vaccine friends came down with Covid-19. Husband is home miserable and wife is in hospital with pneumonia.

I sincerely feel so bad for them. They just listened to people they trust...

Similar thing happened to my anti-vax cousin and their family. They all made it through but when I heard I just shook my head.

They are hardcore anti-vax though, like, all their kids are homeschooled because of it.
 
Just got home from going to Costco. This time there was around 20-25 people I saw not wearing a mask. 5 of them were employees and 2 of them were at the cash register.

Why should a person who has a near 0% chance of catching it have to mask up?

If everyone were vaccinated the virus would literally die. It couldn't spread.

I'm surprised, the Tigard Costco makes everyone entering wear a mask or at least they did when I went there about four weeks ago.
Just asked my wife who does nearly all the shopping and she says that her girlfriend told her that the Beaverton Costco no longer makes you wear a mask.
