Of all the major television news outlets, Fox has the strictest employee vaccine requirements. Essentially everyone who works there is required to be vaccinated against Covid.

Then they go on the air and tell the MAGA cult not to get vaccinated.

So far no. But if people don't start getting vaccinated the sick could spawn a variant that is adjusted to our vaccines.
 
Florida governor DeathSantis sells merchandise on his campaign web site with slogan "Don't Fauci Florida". Don't make Florida smart, I guess? After a leading public health doctor warned the state was headed for a new Covid surge, DeathSantis went in Laura Ingraham's show and both these medical non experts viciously mocked the doctor. Florida now has the second highest Covid outbreak in the country. On fact 40 percent of new cases are in four states, Missouri, Florida, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Canada did not start vaccinating until well after the US but are now well ahead in vaccination. Because they have no death cult. Even the conservative party supports science.

Remember, when previous guy was president the right hailed vaccine and credited dear leader. Now that Biden is president they are all antivaxxer. It's about not letting Biden have a win. Who cares how many die?

India’s pandemic death toll could be in the millions

NEW DELHI (AP) — India’s excess deaths during the pandemic could be a staggering 10 times the official COVID-19 toll, likely making it modern India’s worst human tragedy, according to the most comprehensive research yet on the ravages of the virus in the South Asian country.

Most experts believe India’s official toll of more than 414,000 dead is a vast undercount, but the government has dismissed those concerns as exaggerated and misleading.

The report released Tuesday estimated excess deaths — the gap between those recorded and those that would have been expected — to be 3 million to 4.7 million between January 2020 and June 2021. It said an accurate figure may “prove elusive” but the true death toll “is likely to be an order of magnitude greater than the official count.”

The report was published by Arvind Subramanian, the Indian government’s former chief economic adviser, and two other researchers at the Center for Global Development, a nonprofit think tank based in Washington, and Harvard University.

It said the count could have missed deaths that occurred in overwhelmed hospitals or while health care was disrupted, particularly during the devastating virus surge earlier this year.

“True deaths are likely to be in the several millions not hundreds of thousands, making this arguably India’s worst human tragedy since Partition and independence,” the report said.

I have friends and family that are both dem & repub and a good percentage have elected to not get vaccinated. It doesn't always have to be political carelessness knows no boundaries.

It doesn't always have to be, but statistics say that the single best predictor of being unvaxxed is identifying as a Republican.

Shit, it was my republican side of the fam that was pushing the vaccine plan from day one and most of my dem fam thought because it was a trump plan they wouldnt trust.
The same dem family members that refuse to get vaccinated are the ones that smoke and are overweight too. They wont do anything to help themselves.
I try when I get a chance to speak with all my family to keep it health/science driven rather than incorporate politics into the argument as its just divisive.

Cole Beasley say's he'll retire from the Bills before he gets the vaccine! Typical, coming from someone who has chanced, and put his body through extreme hits to the head and other places. But wants to protect himself by not getting vaccinated.
Let him retire and lose 12 million bucks.

Fascinating that in the last 24 hours, several high-profile right-wingers have suddenly become pro-vaccine. Hannity, Chris Ruddy of Newsmax, that little twerp Ben Shapiro. Steve Scalise got vaccinated yesterday. Probably there are more new converts besides those, those are just the ones that I happened to hear about 2nd hand.
