Florida has the highest hospitalization number of the entire pandemic. Takes very determined denial to say it's over.
Florida is one state. Look at the total numbers and quit ignoring reality.

More bullshit. Numbers are way up. Higher than any point since January.

How is letting people choose to avoid other people who choose too be carriers totalitarian? How is allowing financial protection against those who choose be at high risk totalitarian? That's just freedom.

It's over right? So what's the problem?

Once those who choose to be carriers leave I'll be able to mind my own business.

Weird how mainstream science is saying the vaccine lessens the symptoms, which is great, but doesn’t actually prevent transmission. You must have missed that part when you were busy screaming at people calling them “carriers”.

The vaccine significantly reduces the odds of infection, which prevents transmission. If you don't have it you can't spread it.

The vaccine will also prevent you from being a part of the overwhelmed hospital problem.

Mainstream science and every legitimate epidemiologist in the world agree that the unvaccinated are the problem.

Yes, Florida is the most populated state following your line of reasoning.

So it's the perfect example of just how fucked up your reasoning is, and how much you want to ignore actual evidence.

Then good luck with me and anybody else who understands the scientific method "minding our own business".

Scientific Method is a series of steps used to form or modify a scientific hypothesis. It doesn’t have much to do with what we’re talking about, nor have you employed any of the necessary steps. You actually sound like the one who doesn’t fully understand it and is misusing the term as a blanket statement for simply “following the science” which it is not, it is a very concise series of experiments.

My patience with antivaxxers, Trump cult and science deniers was never great. Right now it's nonexistent. I am through with people who refuse to live on planet Earth.

I am through with people who want to deny others the right to live freely on planet earth.

It's not my job to employ those steps. We have the best minds in the world doing that for us.

All we have to do is follow their advice. Has we done so sooner this thing would ACTUALLY be over by now. And you wouldn't have to do these mental gymnastics you're constantly showing off...

If you are afraid of corrupt politicians’ punishments, that is between you and them and no fault of mine. Don’t point the finger at me while someone else is bending you over.

Everything I posted is true. Its good to question everything so everyone can make an informed decision.

I got the vaccine, despite some of my skepticism.

If more people were more accepting of other points of views rather than dehumanizing people with legitimate questions and concerns, you'll probably have more people agreeable to get the vaccine.
Key word is legitimate. I don’t see legitimate questions or concerns.

These were my "bullshit" points.
  1. Mask mandates are back.
  2. Vaccine passports are here
  3. The vaccines are still on emergency use authorization
  4. Covid can still infect the vaccinated
  5. The vaccinated who are infected with covid can still spread the infection
  6. The CDC stopped tracking breakthrough infections
  7. The CDC extended the eviction moratorium
  8. Covid is unpredictable
The bolded ones are of particular concerns with anti-vaxxer types. But go ahead and just shrug them off.

Fuck this, we are the alpha dog country, we get first dibs on everything. If our country's industries develop the vaccine, we have first right on doses to protect our population to the fullest first.

The highly transmissible delta variant of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 is now in 135 countries, the World Health Organization said Wednesday, as its head called for a moratorium on booster shots of vaccines to ensure poorer countries can get access to first doses.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus made this latest appeal for greater vaccine equity at a regular press briefing, the Associated Press reported. The agency has said there is still not enough data to show that boosters are needed for people who have had both shots of a two-dose vaccine in reining in the spread of the virus.

Tedros reiterated the target set by WHO earlier this year of having 10% of the populations of all countries get vaccines by September on the grounds that as long as major swaths of a population are unvaccinated, variants may emerge, with the risk that one might prove fully vaccine-resistant.

“Accordingly, WHO is calling for a moratorium on boosters until at least the end of September to enable at least 10% of the population of every country to be vaccinated,” he said Wednesday.

Ok. Not sure why it matters. The bottom line is dying or not dying. What are we even talking about. If someone is out there saying I won’t get the shot because I’m really concerned about “emergency use authorization” instead of “95% dying are unvaxxed” they are Fucking stupid.

You don’t really seem to have any arguments on the topic of COVID-19.
There is no argument to be made. We have legitimate guidance from legitimate epidemiologists. If we follow that guidance this ends far more quickly and painlessly.

The evidence is overwhelming.

well, its their choice.

They look at the chance that they contract COVID-19 and the chance that the infection requires hospitalization. The % of this is quite low. They can also look at what their current health state is, their age, their BMI, where they live, where they gather, who they are around, how much they travel, etc.

Then they determine their own risk tolerance weighted against their skepticism of the Vaccine.

  3. The vaccines are still on emergency use authorization
  4. Covid can still infect the vaccinated *but at much lower rates than the unvaccinated, which we've always known*
  5. The vaccinated who are infected with covid can still spread the infection *however they are MUCH less likely to become infected, or get sick*
  6. The CDC stopped tracking breakthrough INFECTIONS *BREAKTHROUGH INFECTIONS ARW STILL WIDELY TRACKED BY AT LEAST 25 STATES*
  7. The CDC extended the eviction MORATORIUM *GOOD*
  8. Covid is unpredictable *BUT THE VACCINE IS PREDICTABLE AND WOULD END THE PANDEMIC, SO STOP TRYING TO CONVINCE PEOPLE NOT TO GET VACCINATED*
The bolded ones are of particular concerns with anti-vaxxer types. But go ahead and just shrug them off.
It's bullshit, skewed to generate clicks. You're pushing clickbait. There, you win. I responded to your stupid bullshit "concerns".

And then when in that critical thinking process do they think about ICU beds and dying and those things? All these deep thinkers, they must cover all their bases right

“CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said recent studies had shown that those vaccinated individuals who do become infected with Covid have just as much viral load as the unvaccinated, making it possible for them to spread the virus to others.” - NBC.

Well, then you can just laugh at them and take joy in their suffering by their own decision making process.

"*BUT THE VACCINE IS PREDICTABLE AND WOULD END THE PANDEMIC, SO STOP TRYING TO CONVINCE PEOPLE NOT TO GET VACCINATED*"

I am not trying to convince people not to get vaccinated. I recommend people get vaccinated. I'm going to highlight concerns with the vaccine, as its better to not ignore them.
