Toady Ted Cruz introduced legislation to ban mask mandates and vaccine mandates. His children attend a very exclusive $25,000 a year private school that requires masks. Your kids are expendable.

You know, if Trump built his wall, Ted Cruz might have stayed in Cancun. Just sayin'

So given that 78% of covid deaths affect the obese, and obesity is also preventable, should hospitals turn this man away if he ever is afflicted with one of the many obesity-causing ailments that plague our country WORSE than covid?

I don’t think so either.

Has anyone taken a fraction of a second to also consider that the cancer that this man’s wife suffers from is an ailment that is RIGHT NOW killing millions more people than covid will ever even come close to? Or that there are like 10 other diseases, many preventable, that are ahead of covid on the list of death rates and even hospital visits?

This is the road people want to go down? Turning people away from the fucking hospital?

This is more about political vengeance than it is covid. Just admit it already.

How are all of you feeling and doing?
I just tested negative today. Still feel pretty tired and lacking my normal energy, but I think I am out of the covid zone. My girlfriend is getting her test in an hour. I am hoping she is free and clear as well. The rest of my family here are doing well, but my nephew and brother in law are still feeling some light affects. We should all be fine though.

Cancer and heart disease are the number one killers in this nation, so everyone go ahead and take off your seat belts when driving and stop exercising?

Deny those same people life saving care because they didn’t have a seatbelt on when they crashed? Or they didn’t exercise enough and had a heart attack? Same premise, and a ridiculous one.

How about deny their care because there are no ICU beds available because they are filled with Covid patients and there is no room for people with other illnesses. Even with Covid mortality going down, a large number of people still need pretty serious medical help to get through it and that will be at the expense of every other person who needs medical attention.

Send them to another hospital then. ONE hospital in Mississippi that MIGHT get overwhelmed is not the barometer for the entirety of the country. This is an anecdotal example and it’s yet to even reach that point. It is very loose justification to start demanding medical care be denied to those you disagree with.

I'm not sure why you look at masks and vaccines as a seatbelt type of situation. While they clearly do provide a safety benefit to those who wear them/get vaccinated, they provide an equally (maybe more) important health benefit to the community in that they reduce the spread of the virus.

So you and your wife were denied medical care when you got covid? right..........you have a real us against the world thing going on but you're young and I assume still employed...if you worked for me I'd only demand your cell phone when you're on the clock...getting paid to own the libs is not helping your cause. You could still get medical care even though you're not fat! See how that works...you should really clock out and protest at the hospital and tell patients what evil agents the first responders are and how it's hurting american freedom! yup...that's the ticket...I'd love to see you argue with my doctors and nurses about this..you'd get destroyed with facts and reality....don't get me wrong...these are just suggestions...I'm not telling anyone over 3 years old what to do..watering down the crisis in Mississippi seems a little out of your lane eh? My oldest son works the power lines in N Cal and the whole crew got shut down after his coworker just got sick with covid....govt didn't cause it but he'll have trouble paying rent now due to his anti vax coworker..one stubborn asshole cost a couple dozen people a paycheck until they've all quarantined long enough to go back to work....meanwhile another crew took the contract and that's losing big time

Were you glad to get that off your chest?

Thats rich. "political vengeance". Why is it that 99% of anti mask anti vax are Trumpets? How has fucking science and covid become political? Its science. Why are the people protesting wearing a mask........the same type? If you could take a shot and 94% not be obese, guess what, yep, no more obesity. And the 6% who were still obese? Just come on down to the hospital we have ROOM! It is such a weird hill to die on, defending anything about this, and any anti vax bullshit. The literal dumbest of all the dumb

Care to comment on the extremely low vaccination rate in the black community?

Is it because they are “trumpets” like me?

Or is it possible there are other factors?

What happens when the next hospital is full and the one after that. Good luck having a heart attack in Florida right now. The argument that we want to deny Covid patients who don't get vaccines treatment is a really big strawman argument. As long as we have resources that will never happen. Once we run out of medical resources though then doctors will need to actually make decisions on who needs the care the most, so the whole point is to not get to that point.

What is more probable given our current state? Will a death squad of doctors and politicians start denying Covid patients care as a form of political retribution? Or will our hospitals become over run with infection cases causing a traffic jam for all medical treatments?

Wow, you managed to prove my point in the first sentence. Props.
Proved that it is political because of the right? Thank you finally we agree. It is 100% political. It should not be. But Trumpers are gonna Trump to own the libs. Fucking idiots.

Their excuse is the historical hesitancy for vaccines considering what Black people experienced many years ago and killed people. True guinea pigs. What are white people's excuse? When were all these white folks treated so badly that caused them to refuse this particular vaccine? What experience do they have that causes them to refuse?

Vaccines should not be mandated so I agree with him there.
