So given that 78% of covid deaths affect the obese, and obesity is also preventable, should hospitals turn this man away if he ever is afflicted with one of the many obesity-causing ailments that plague our country WORSE than covid?

I don’t think so either.

Has anyone taken a fraction of a second to also consider that the cancer that this man’s wife suffers from is an ailment that is RIGHT NOW killing millions more people than covid will ever even come close to? Or that there are like 10 other diseases, many preventable, that are ahead of covid on the list of death rates and even hospital visits?

This is the road people want to go down? Turning people away from the fucking hospital?

This is more about political vengeance than it is covid. Just admit it already.
If we had a free shot that reduced the number of people dying from cancer and heart disease by over 99% with similar side effects as the covid-19 vaccines I would support letting anybody who refused the shot die at home rather than wasting resources treating those diseases.

Absolutely.

The issue with masks is that vaccinated people were allowed to remove them and the unvaxxed were told to use the honor system of keeping theirs on. Which is the most useless thing ever, “honor” and the anti mask crowd. It’s hilarious (almost) they reopened and were like “you can remove mask but if not vaccinated please keep it on” like these dipshits are going to actually do that.
The real issue is that everyone assumed that the vaccine prevents the transmission of the virus.... That was a faulty assumption.

BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett DENIES bid from University of Indiana students to block vaccine mandates
  • The decision is the first significant test for challenges to vaccine mandates
  • Barrett did not even request a response from the university, nor did she refer the matter to the full court, suggesting she viewed the case as meritless
  • The university initially was set to require medical records to prove vaccination status, but now simply asks students to attest to their vaccine online

no...they knew it could be transmitted by anyone touching things or breathing or handling a box..etc...always been that way and they know you'll likely survive with the vaccine....where the fucked up was taking off the masks after being vaccinated and that was the kicker..along with opening up indoor gatherings again...we were so close to containing this and people couldn't wait to be "normal" again with choices...too little too late....our impatience was the problem..still is
