Sure. The virus is going to be around from here on out. They have found that it’s now commonly found in white tail deer and likely other mammals. Even if we clean it out of the human population in a given area for awhile, it will ultimately be brought back in from other areas where it’s active or through interaction with infected wildlife. The question is, since you’re almost certain to get it, would you rather deal with it having an immune system that recognizes it and can quickly build antibodies to fight it, or with an immune system that’s never seen it before? In your case, given that you got pretty sick even though you were fully vaccinated, I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that you owe your life to the vaccines.
