Yikes. Hope she feels better soon and that you do not get it. My better half got it in a conference last year. Luckily we have space - and I just slept in my home-office while she had it, so was lucky to still not get it.
 
My 94 YO mother just tested positive the middle of last week. We got her on Paxlovid and today when I talked to her she had zero symptoms. Hopefully, she won't get the rebound second case that some do, but so far at least, so good.
 
I got 0 of the shots, got it from a triple vaccinated cousin last year. It was terrible for her and almost like nothing for me. Stop getting the shots you fools.

My mother is immune compromised and caught it 6 months ago.

Being immune compromised they admitted her for a couple days.

The doctor told her not to worry. He worked through the whole thing and unfortunately saw a lot of patients die of COVID. But he only saw one vaccinated patient die of COVID. A person who was already terminal and incredibly weak with cancer.

My mother had a tough run, but she was fine.

My wife's uncle died of COVID. No vaccine. Otherwise healthy. Our friend's mother died of COVID. No vaccine.

My good friend and coworker, early 30s. 2 year old son. Perfectly healthy. No vaccine. Very vocally opposed to masks. Very vocal about the "COVID Hoax". Died of COVID on his kitchen floor because he was too stubborn to go to the hospital with COVID.

He was a good friend of the Father at their church. They decided since he had been so anti mask they would not require masks at his funeral even though it was required at the time.

I miss him. He was a good guy.

Glad your mom is doing better and sorry about the loss of your friend.
 
aaaaand it finally reached my house. wifey tested positive today, guessing i might be soon to follow.

apartment hunting and traveling on crowded subways for two weeks and bam.... exposure. had escaped it for 3 yrs.

in a similar boat now, and want to keep separate for a bit just so that one of us is able to take care of the other instead of both being out at the same time.

Yeah, we thought we were golden since our 16 year old daughter now has a license. Until we had to send her to the store to buy NyQuil...

The hospitals killed people with ventilators and remdesivir. As did the vaccines and social economic suppression. And not treating pnemonia

Why did they quarantine the healthy for the first time ever? Doctors were punished and censored for talking about life saving medication. We are ruled by sociopaths, but not enough realize it.

I was never quarantined while healthy.

But healthy people have been quarantined during every pandemic ever. If there is a risk that you were exposed you typically get quarantined.

We've never seen a more contagious illness than COVID. Nothing even close.
