They called him the "Son of Merlin" and showed a couple of pics of him.

Then, just now, he was hamming it up for the camera, wrestling with someone else from the crew.

Weirdo.

Let's go steal his basketball hoop while he's busy.

I liked the Babbitt interview. He seem really down to earth type of guy. Sounds like he's going to hustle whenever he's on the floor. I also like the Williams interview though he seem pretty nervous.

I liked both of the interviews, too, although Babbitt said "You know" more times per second than I thought was humanly possible.

Apparently to work for the Blazers, you need to fire your agent if the owner doesn't like your agent in order to keep your job.

But really, we're not looking for Yes Men ... we want independent thinkers...

Does anyone else find it funny that a GM needs an agent?

You guys didn't know Rice was my Dad?

Larry Bird? That's not asking to much is it?

If there's any more proof needed I really don't get enough sleep, I was reading this forum and all the sudden went (to myself) "hey..where the hell has mgb been lately??? Oh my god..he didn't die, did he!?!"

so I did a quick search on here, for a post by him (you), and lo-and-behold...in the very thread that made me think of him (you), he (you) posted.

good lord.

I don't know. Do lawyers generally represent themselves in court cases? (I have no idea.)

My guess is that GMs have agents to handle the stuff around their contracts so that they (the GMs) can put all their work attention on their job. Representing someone is a job, even if it's yourself, and I don't imagine GMs want two jobs.

How about this if KP gets fired he still get's paid his League low 800k a year at least until another organization pays him what he probably really is worth.

I suspect this will be interpreted a couple of ways around here.

I eventually spaced out in his interview at the time that he said "you know" after one word like 12 times in a row. When I came back to reality a guy who looks kind of like a salamander was on and BAM I was back out and missed the rest of the show.

Ya know, I think he says 'ya know' more than Damon did. Ya know?

Go Blazers
