Don't play him another second and hope that some GM out there thinks that PER is a decent measure of a player's worth!Whenever we put him in, he scores immediately. Maybe we should give him a shot in the rotation. I'd like to see what he could do with 15 minutes.
Right now, our second best bench scorer, Blake, only averages 3.8 ppg I believe. Certainly, Crabbe could knock down two shots a game if given minutes.
After 3 games, the Celtics' Brandon Bass has a PER of only 11.1. Maybe we could get Bass for Crabbe.

He couldn't possibly get turned around more than Wright does! The question isn't "will he score" to me. It's "will he be able to stop his man from scoring".

Hope we see more Crabbe. He's a smart player and I think he'll show more upside as he gets comfortable offensively. He had a couple sweet passes & the catch & shoot jumper in the 4th was smooth. Small NBA sample size, but you can see his game is fairly polished. He stays within himself & doesn't make the bonehead plays most of our younger guys do. Even when you watch his Cal highlights, you see a refined game. He might not be bursting with potential athletically, but he's got a chance to be a good, solid guy coming off the bench/spot starter. I hope coach Stotts keeps giving him minutes. We know what Will can (and can't) do . . . he'll never be a 3 & D guy. Crabbe, however, might be our Danny Green.
