Whenever we put him in, he scores immediately. Maybe we should give him a shot in the rotation. I'd like to see what he could do with 15 minutes.

Don't play him another second and hope that some GM out there thinks that PER is a decent measure of a player's worth!

The PER means nothing yet, but I am very interested is seein more crabbe. I hope he gets a chance to show more. But what I like is his D looks really good for a young player. Add that to crazy good shooting from deep and that's a great piece.

Right now, our second best bench scorer, Blake, only averages 3.8 ppg I believe. Certainly, Crabbe could knock down two shots a game if given minutes.

The question isn't "will he score" to me. It's "will he be able to stop his man from scoring".

Personally from the limited burn I've seen, he's looking pretty solid and active on the defensive end. I think he can hold his own

I would like to see what he could do with the rest of the starters getting the attention.

After 3 games, the Celtics' Brandon Bass has a PER of only 11.1. Maybe we could get Bass for Crabbe.

I read the title and knew it would be a kingspeed thread. You always make me laugh man.

Crabbe has not wasted time getting his in in 30 second stretches on the court.

There will be no Crabbe bashing on my watch. That dude is the future Mad Ants MVP.

I always knew you were all about that Bass

He couldn't possibly get turned around more than Wright does!

Yeah tell me about it. It's weird because the year we grabbed Wright, many of us thought he was the perfect fit for our team. Including myself.

It's a shame that wright hasn't done what we were hoping he would do

Update: Small Sample Size Alert (oopsie!)

Crabbe's PER is now 9.7 - oh how the once mighty have fallen!

Myers Leonard, with a PER = 27.7 is our new SSSS* (Small Sample Size Superstar)!

*Hey Denny and all site admins, why doesn't our version of vBulletin support the [sup]value[/sup] superscript formatting tag? The proper version of SSSS should be S[sup]4[/sup].

So how do you do it?

This has [sup]the potential[/sup] to be [sub]annoying[/sub].

$18 x 10[sup]13[/sup]

That's 18 with 13 zeros following it.

Chump change.

Hope we see more Crabbe. He's a smart player and I think he'll show more upside as he gets comfortable offensively. He had a couple sweet passes & the catch & shoot jumper in the 4th was smooth. Small NBA sample size, but you can see his game is fairly polished. He stays within himself & doesn't make the bonehead plays most of our younger guys do. Even when you watch his Cal highlights, you see a refined game. He might not be bursting with potential athletically, but he's got a chance to be a good, solid guy coming off the bench/spot starter. I hope coach Stotts keeps giving him minutes. We know what Will can (and can't) do . . . he'll never be a 3 & D guy. Crabbe, however, might be our Danny Green.

Great points and I agree

Crabbe = Barton + discretion + ears.

Crabbe went to Cal-Berkley. Some of our other backups -- not so much. Just sayin'.

Pleasantly surprised with Crabbe last night. Might just have the makings of our backup SFOTF. Plays in the system, good on D, and can roll with the starters without much issue. And the more comfortable he gets the more his shot will come around.
