To be fair, affect vs effect is actually pretty difficult. I remember being fed up with not knowing a couple years back and researching it on the internet.

I remember a troll once (else where) rambling on and on about something, and had like a 15 sentence long, run-on sentence.

So a guy responded "hey, add in a coma once in a while, you ass face"..

The next guy responded with "wait..were you making a witty comment, making fun of those who use grammar jokes as their way of putting people down, or were you wishing he'd go into a comatose state?"

his response was basically that no, he just spelled comma wrong.
