Harkless / Leonard / Davis / pick

To the Clippers for

Jordan / Lou Williams

CJ for Aaron Gordon.

(Wait, someone already made a thread out of that.)

Patty baseball for Klay Thompson.
(Wait someone already suggested that.)

LOL. I'm just ridiculing scenarios left and right.

Who's gonna do our dirty work with both of our junkyard dogs gone?
Good point. Still, thread said "crazy".

Legit question though--what would you offer for Paul George (assuming that he'll most likely play like an all-star, perhaps key a deep playoff run, but then leave in the summer)?

Any non-big3 and non-rookie, but they'd have to take one of either Biebs or ET, and they can't have both Ed and Vonleh.

We need a beast for about 20 minutes a game. Jordan coming off the bench for Nurkic and playing PF at times as a twin tower approach would do just that. And he extends his career by playing less minutes. PS: if Nurkic gets hurt right now - we are toast.

Lou Williams is instant scoring off our bench; we don’t have a pure shooter on our bench! Evan Turner? Not

But my trade proposal does something much bigger:

- Harkness (what a waste at $10 mil/year)
- Leonard (what a waste. Period)
- David (gone in a year anyway)

And I’d rather be in a position of trading away Jordan next Summer than Harkless, Leonard or Davis

I'm pretty sure they can get more than that for Jordan alone.

I'm not going to give a scenario, but I'm all about asset acquisition that we could trade down the road.

The leadership of Lillard has paid off huge with Nurkic.

This floundering prospect needs a change of culture and scenery. I can see him as instant offense off the bench, the same way OKC utilized Kanter. I know his skillset isn't ideal for this era, but he is a legit post-scoring big. The polar opposite to Vonleh.

To Portland:
Jahlil Okafor

To Philly:
?

To Portland:
Mario Hezonja

To Orlando:
?

I like Harkless for Alec Burks, given how bad Hark is playing we may need to add something, perhaps a 2nd rdr is enough. I'm willing to take a chance on this oft injured player, he has one yr less than Hark on his contract which are similar $$$ wise

Didn't those teams choose not to retain their rights? Or is it just that they didn't offer them an extension? I don't want to trade for a player without RFA status.

God no. Who starts at the 2? Patty???

C'mon bro..

C'mon bro...don't blow the whistle before you realize the poster was making light of the thread that had already suggested trading CJ for Gordon.

Harkless / Leonard / Davis / pick

To the Clippers for

Jordan / Lou Williams

I’m willing to give up our #1 pick with Harkless, Leonard and Davis to obtain Jordan and Williams. Here’s why:

This trade is as much about what we get rid of versus who we are obtaining. We can experiment with Nurkic / Jordan and if this does not help us against the conference power teams - we can trade either player over the Summer (sign & trade in Nurkic’s case) and Lou Williams will come off the books at the end of the season. Perhaps we resign him, perhaps we use him in a sign & trade. In any case, we berid ourselves of Harkless, Leonard and Davis and untie our hands this Summer for all kinds of flexibility. And if healthy, we go deep into the playoffs with the addition of Jordan and Williams versus being playoff hopefuls with Harkless, Leonard and Davis.

Jordan would never work next to Nurkic. It’s even worse than the Jokic/Nurkic pairing that failed.

I agree that we could use a backup center that can actually defend centers, but Jordan ain’t it.

Nevermind that Jordan wouldn’t ever be happy with such a move. Dude is a starter, period.

That's beyond awful for the Clippers. Why would they not just take Middleton instead of Turner? We steal so much value out of that deal.

Wouldn't that just be CRAZY though if Olshey worked some magic with his Old Team? ;)

We must hope that the clippers contuine to suck, and maybe olshey can do something with his old team
