I'm not saying there is a huge conspiracy, but I think it's really weird that there's suddenly a ton of shootings. What is causing this? Copy cats?

I did read that after the Columbine shooting, there were like 350 reported threats in the weeks immediately following. In times where big shootings haven't occurred for some time, there's maybe 1-2 per week nationwide.

BTW, there was no "2nd gunman." The second person taken into custody was the shooter's brother. He was released because there was no evidence he had anything to do with it. If the author of the original story was really scouring the news/internet for info, she would have known that.

Not who she was talking about. There was video of them arresting and handcuffing a man in camo that they found hiding in the woods. The video seems to be gone now. He was not the shooter's brother. He told the cameraman he was not involved in this, and they took him away.
