Assists:
3. Lillard - 3,610, trails Clyde Drexler @ 4,933

This may be the most surprising stat. That in 8+ season as a PG, that Dame is that far behind a SG in Drexler. Granted, Clyde was here for 11 1/2 seasons, but if you divide those out, Dame is barely ahead of Clyde on a per season basis. Clyde was special.

Its also a different NBA, Clyde was great, Dames great too. Just different players.

This is because of our offense schemes, it’s Stotts fault. If Adelman were coaching this version of the Blazers he’d get more assists.

I gotta say I had no idea melo was 21st in all time scoring for the entire nba, and that’s with a year off to boot!

I believe he is 18th all time on the NBA-only standings. 21st on the NBA/ABA standings (i.e., people like Julius Erving, etc. had a lot of their points in the ABA).

Gramps...

I'd be curious to see what percentage of that is fast break offense for both. Clyde lived in the open court, setting up or finishing. Lillard, not so much.

Of 'the big 5' career stats categories (pts, rbs, ast, stl, blk), only 2 Blazers are in the top 10 in all 5 categories:
- C Drexler (1 pts, 2 rbs, 2 ast, 1 stl, 7 blk)
- J Kersey (6 pts, 3 rbs, 9 ast, 3 stl, 6 blk)

Only 3 Blazers are in the top 10 in 4 of the big 5 categories:
- C Robinson (5 pts, 10 rbs, 6 stl, 2 blk)
- M Thompson (9 pts, 4 rbs, 8 ast, 1 blk)
- R Wallace (10 pts, 7 rbs, 10 stl, 3 blk) - only until Lillard gets 3 more steals

Only 3 Blazers are in the top 10 in 3 of the big 5 categories:
- L Aldridge (3 pts, 1 rbs, 4 blk)
- T Porter (4 pts, 1 ast, 2 stl)
- J Paxson (7 pts, 7 ast, 4 stl)

With 3 more steals, Lillard (2 pts, 3 ast, 11 stl) will move into that category of being top 10 in 3 of the big 5 categories.

I'm a Dame fan.
