if anything i think the way people have been playing plays right into ivey's hands. he's widely regarded as the best poker player in the world for a reason. he knows how to pick his spots and he can use the crazy play against his opponents.given how crazy everyone else was and likely still will be playing, and that the big stacks will be gunning for him, 30 BB doesn't give him much room to maneuver.
even though he's starting 7th in chips, i think he has to be the favorite. he's that much better than everyone else at the table.
