Eddy Curry is still recovering from a bacterial infection and will probably sit out the final two days of practice in Saratoga Springs. Mike D’Antoni said that he did not expect Curry to practice until Monday at the earliest. He acknowledged that Curry, whose weight and conditioning were already a potential concern, was falling behind. “It makes it a little bit tougher, but we’ve got a ways to go,” D’Antoni said. ... Stephon Marbury spent a third consecutive day of scrimmages with the second team, while Chris Duhon played on the first team. “I want to see different combinations,” D’Antoni said. Marbury has made it clear that he will be unhappy as a bench player. Asked about his point-guard situation, D’Antoni played coy. “It’s pretty good. I got some of the best. Is that what you mean?” he said with a chuckle.

Someone needs to tell him that Taco Bell is not the cure for a bacterial infection.

When has Curry ever been in shape for the beginning of a season? The dude is a bum in the offseason and always has been. I think he came into camp in shape one year, and that was his contract year. Other then that, it's been the same story every year.
