I'll be interested to see how the d pairings are going to look in light of the Yandle trade. Is AV going to go w/ Boyle and Yandle or will he pair Yandle w/ a more defensive minded guy (staal?). Either way, the move will allow AV to not roll the Girardi/McDonagh pair as much as he has in the past. If the Rangers are going to make another long run in the playoffs, cutting down the minutes for those two in the meantime is huge luxury. Hopefully this will keep them a little more fresh, but at this point in the season is 2-3 minutes less per game going to have THAT much of an impact...Either way, very glad to see Sather making win-now moves.

I think that's the right move too. Yandle in the lineup tonight?

I'd prefer to see Klein and Yandle. Klein, while being responsible defensively, is still a shooting threat if he hangs back a bit. Boyle has been a train wreck defensively, not sure I want to see him paired with Yandle. Like to see Yandle "set free" to jump in the play, not sure they can do that with Boyle being the guy to cover for him...

Lefty righty. So Klein and Boyle won't play together IMO.

Most likely it will be Staal/Boyle and Yandle/Klein.
