D Rose and the fiba worlds situation.

I still don't understand why rose gets the start after barely playing for two years but whatever. If he needs rest already, what makes the coaching staff think that he will be able to be consistent when the real games start happening? It doesn't sound good to me. If I'm thibs, I'm taking rose out and telling him he needs to save his energy for the upcoming season. I think Damian deserves a chance. I think rose is overrated. He can't shoot, isn't as explosive as a Westbrook. Can finish at the rim and play some defense. That's it. I'm just saying if he's this tired already, get rid of him. Your gonna have to play Spain with an already depleted team. Last thing you need is d rose not playing in these games because he's injured or tired or not playing well.

I knew there was a fiba thread but there wasn't much talk going on in there last time I checked. Just talk on Damian probably getting cut. Sorry if this was a dumb post, I just am annoyed at the whole situation and don't really understand it. Damian could really get better playing in these games and I feel like we have and rose that isn't getting better like the media is telling us. I believe it will end up in an unfortunate b Roy situation. I mean, come on. Second exhibition game in and you aren't playing because you need rest?! Well how is he gonna play these upcoming fiba games ya know? Plus lead the bulls to the eastern conference finals. Just don't buy into what I'm being told I guess

Rose is going to take it slow if it hurts a lot or if he just has a little tingle, IMO. But he was the MVP of the league and is obviously a talent if 100%. I don't think you can ignore that. I really don't care too much what happens in FIBA and doesn't look like the NBA players care that much either.

Rose is rusty and on the mend. A healthy Rose is a superstar, he's not underrated at all. A hobbled Rose is just a sad story.(BRoyesque) The excitement of playing in Chicago pumped him up and he probably overdid it. If I were his coach I'd have him bow out of the team USA. Maybe the logic is that if he's going to get injured again, better in FIBA than preseason. That gives the Bulls more time to get an exception and sign someone. Who knows? If he does, Lillard will make the squad as Irving's backup
