Dame can’t be traded yet. I think the 10th of July is the earliest he can be traded. In case some mods want to troll our awesome forum.

He’s gonna trade you…. To Blazersedge!Dame can trade a house or a car anytime he wants to.
A trade including Dame can't be completed until July 10th... that's 4 days after contracts can be signed and the particulars of the deal would be known as soon as it was agreed to. That's not tampering or anything illegal, it's happened before that guys have been reported to be on the move a week or two before their trade restriction expired.Dame can’t be traded yet. I sure hope not but the idea that an agreement can't be reached at any time with his trade restriction coming up in less than a month and no games or team activities being scheduled between now and then is nonsense. We could find a trade partner for Dame tomorrow and sure either team could back out between now and then because the trade wouldn't be official until it was called in on July 10th but that would be a bad look for the team that did it if the trade had been leaked to the press. The teams wouldn't be allowed to address it officially until July 10th when it would be completed. So he is being traded?
They could agree to a deal in principle. Also, if Dame really wants to go to Heat, there could be urgency there before they move on to next target.this has more to do with 2023 draft picks.
Dame probably won't be traded, and if he is it wouldn't be for weeks or even till next season's trade deadline. I don't think anybody seriously believes Dame is asking to be traded this week or even before the first week or two of the off-season. So there would be no sense of a Dame trade 2 days from now during the draft. Teams won't make draft picks based upon Dame speculation and then hold off on signing a pick when Dame might not ask out for weeks or months, if ever

I don’t think we are that lucky.I just want this saga, if you want to call it that, to end or way or the other. Going to be a long, aggravating time until it is.

pairing Simons & Herro, with their quick release 3-pointers, the local media would freak out if they combined for 20 threes in a Blazers win. "see, we told you, our boss Cronin built the Steph & Klay blueprint. Now fans just need to wait for the trade deadline. Because I talk to people behind the scenes with my elite team access pass, which none of you idiots have, and Joe definitely has plans grab 3-4 All-Star vets during the break."
A pairing of Simons and Herro would result in the Blazers being the first team ever to give up 200 points.pairing Simons & Herro, with their quick release 3-pointers, the local media would freak out if they combined for 20 threes in a Blazers win. He's wrong & doesn't know what he's talking aboutSean Highkin updated this morning that it’s only a 6 month restriction and Dame could be traded right now. He wouldn’t have to wait until 7/9.
Mods can you update the thread title?
A designated veteran extension can only be signed from the end of the July Moratorium through the last day before the start of the regular season. A player who signs a designated veteran contract or extension can't be traded for one year after he is signed.
I don't even know when we just used the third pick and seventh pick on our back court why people are talking about Herro. Ant could still make sense for our team sharing minutes with our two recent lotto picks but to add another high impact guard, if Dame is being moved wouldn't make a lot of sense.A pairing of Simons and Herro would result in the Blazers being the first team ever to give up 200 points.

in regulation, or would they need a few overtimes ??A pairing of Simons and Herro would result in the Blazers being the first team ever to give up 200 points.

You need to be a detailed CAP nerd to know these things. It happens...How does a guy like Highkin get it wrong like this.... so weird.
