Strenuous first judges Lillard by law and order/Feminist standards, showing him to have never been in a fight, then takes a funny post literally. Totally lost in this thread.

That.... what?

We all know what some racist asshole called him, that's the only way I could see someone like Dame reacting in any manner like this. And he wasn't out of bounds what so ever.

I got the impression it was a young black guy, not a racist. The guy fell silent, so no problem. He probably talks fighting language to everyone, even those in the group. Remember high school?

Not defending it at all, because regardless what exactly was said shouldn't be said.

However the reports coming out are that it was a gay slur, not a racist comment.
Perhaps todays society jumps to conclusions too often.
But it's easier to look for ways to feel slighted, than to get the truth.

Just curious, why do Athletes like to wear these weird chains around their necks? Maybe I'm too old, but is that something to make them look cool or what?

Chris Haynes reported it was a “gay slur” so I’m guessing there was also another word tossed in there that rhymes with maggot.

Lillard dealt with it correctly.
Where the hell is HCP when you need him?

Unless you cite the reports, we don't know whether you made them up.

Watching this, I can't help but wonder what was Dame's plan? Truly, was he prepared to put his hands on someone? I get it, he's from "The Town" and all that, but seriously, what would he have done?

That fan was wrong in what he did.

He should have bad mouthed Lillard one more time--> get punched in the face-->sue him for 100k--->post pics on Instagram of him blowing all that money on strippers and Hennessy.

It's the American way!

IMO gay slurs and racist slurs are one in the same. :dunno:

The business mantra of "The customer is always right" does not apply to NBA fans, especially since they've been serving alcohol....

I'm still trying to figure out what part of this was "funny" :dunno:

The part that gets me is Dame looked like he was just gonna sign some autographs and take some pictures.

Again, non-story. No one will remember the kids... and by the way dame handled it, no one will remember this incident. Hopefully the people who said it grow up... but the fact that they can say those words to a stranger (yes, since I doubt they've talked to Dame before face-to-face or on the internet, that makes him a stranger)... I have my doubts.
