So i'm curious, how can one reach a protein intake of at least 130 grams a day with a vegan diet?

Bodybuilders might need that much protein but most adults don't and there's lots of protein in nuts, beans, even vegetables.

but it's a dog eat dog food world you live in....vegan dogs get heckled I'd imagineEven easier than that. Oregon has some delicious hazelnut fed pork.

I know some athletes and mma fighters are vegan. There are health benefits but given the fact he plays an 82 game grueling season, hope he picks up meat again soon or his body might feel like shit playing at the elite level he does. I just don't see him sticking to this with how crazy an NBA season is, it's almost essential he breaks away from the vegan diet for that energy
actually it doesn't you can drink all you need in a blended smoothie and it goes straight to the bloodstream....body doesn't expend the energy to digest it and convert itbut it takes a lot more work to do so

I guess we are really gonna act like a vegan diet for an 82 game season is sustainable. I eat vegetables as everybody should but you can't tell me that's sustainable because it simply isn't when you are playing at an elite level every other nightactually it doesn't you can drink all you need in a blended smoothie and it goes straight to the bloodstream....body doesn't expend the energy to digest it and convert it
I just didbut you can't tell me that's sustainable
That's great, go play an 82 game season on a vegan diet and tell me it's sustainable. One thing I dislike about this vegan culture especially around Portland is you become know it all about it. Humans weren't meant to eat an all vegan diet. Yeah it's sustainable for low level athletes and people who just live their life, not crazy exercise at all but I'm talking every other night, include practice.I just did
I'm 63...that ain't happenin'go play an 82 game season on a vegan diet and tell me it's sustainable

more flexible joints...speed...he's not going to lose muscle mass....he'll maintain it and shed body fatI think vegans are douchebags.
But it takes amazing self control.
If Lillard is in boxing shape he'll be a beast. Play him 48 minutes a game. But, he's been an ironman for us while not being a vegan, so whats the point
If you can read Mandarin, there's a much longer list.......and Carl Lewis is a standout athlete...they all are..which was the whole pointThat's not really a standout list of athletes.
Real men eat meat.
What a bitch
Anything is possibleI'm 63...that ain't happenin'
