Im pretty consistent in what I want and think … just doesn’t line up with your opinions all the time and I’m perfectly fine with that

That's today but let's hope there is a a definitive moment between now and the end of Dame's career that would make this a lot easier.

I don’t hold anything against Barkley and Malone. They won MVP. That’s an individual award. A championship is a team award. Jordan never won a championship. The Bulls did.
 
Imagine arguing NOT putting a statue up of the greatest trial blazer of all time, Damian Lillard.

Those priorities are all messed up. There's no argument to it. Dame is getting a statue.

They never did it before with the greats that passed through here ... so why start now? Besides I'd be starting with Schonely, the man who gave 5 decades to the franchise, bridging every team that's been.
 
Since Dame hates statues I'd consider opting for the Dame Lillard hologram...you can push a button and it will give one of his speeches or rap one of his songs....go high tech!

How about a giant Dame Time clock somewhere at Moda? It can be the new replacement for the Meier & Frank clock downtown...

This idea that 'effort' has to be rewarded is a sad state of the NBA and people's work ethics in general. Being praised for not being lazy is sad but that's more a statement of where we are as a people than on Dame specifically.

We have to reward people for just showing up to work everyday, we have become so lazy…

Building a statue for the best player in franchise history is rewarding him for "just showing up"??

That's certainly a take.
