Lillard can obviously score 60pts, but you have to ask if he can do it so easily and efficiently why doesn't he do it every game?

This idea that 'effort' has to be rewarded is a sad state of the NBA and people's work ethics in general. Being praised for not being lazy is sad but that's more a statement of where we are as a people than on Dame specifically.

Does anyone, or maybe HCP, know if "Lobot" ( guy wearing headset ,with hardly an expression on face, during this celebration), still works for the Blazers. I always crack up watching the video of this moment because of this guy.

He was an NBA league rep….. for playoff and national games, the league sends out a rep to deal with the timing and breaks. Haven’t actually seen him in forever.

Context. I never once mentioned Dame, but was referring to the average work force of today.
Read the post I responded to. Sorry for the confusion.

For the record, Im all for a statue or whatever Dame wants. Is there a harder worker?

Did anyone else hear Eddie Johnson say that Damion Lillard is overrated when it comes to leadership and that isn’t a guy that can carry a team deep into the playoffs on NBA radio. Also said that Portland should be in the playoff mix and that its basically Dames fault that there not. Said he was trying to do to much on his own and didn’t show enough faith in the younger guys.
 
How about 30 feet from the hoop statue, pulling up with 16 seconds on the shot clock with two guys in his face

HOF is my statue line. Dame is (of course) a lock for that because he's been consistently awesome for Portland over a long career. Then again, I could care less about a stupid statue... sooooo, whatever!

Regardless, hoops is a team game and management's failures of putting together a competitive team is on them not Dame.
