Dame, and imo it’s not that close. Yes I’ve been watching since the Clyde days so I saw Broy in his prime.
Casey Holdahl and Joe Freeman answered this question in their podcast. B Roy was never dropping the huge numbers as frequently as Damian.
You hold on to your truthy feelings, I'll look at the facts. http://www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/damian_lillard_vs_brandon_roy.htmPicking best player by stats is like picking best player by championship rings. They are both studs, but my preference will always be Roy.
Dame every day of the week. Better player, harder worker, better representative of the city and team, nicer human being.
Feels like a level of bias due to the current vs years ago Roy presence. Roy was so good. He was clutch, he scored from all over, he was a winner, he defended and while some say he wasn’t a leader or a good guy (?), my interaction with him was always good and he was a super nice guy.

Where does this legend of Roy playing defense come from? The only rotation player worse than him on defense was Steve Blake.
YesLillard. Roy didn’t make anyone around him better nor was he the leader Dame is. That ISO offense wasn’t all on McMillan. Roy wanted that.
Brandon Roy played defense.
I hate these type of posts as it ends up pitting two great Blazer players against each other. They are and were special in their own way and we should appreciate both for what they have done for this franchise.
