Might as well lock this one up too now.

Dame has refuted this.

/thread

I saw it posted somewhere that Dame said he never requested a meeting. Ill try to find the link.
I saw his tweet and took that to either mean there was no meeting or Canzano was at the least trying to make it a bigger deal than it was. (Probably, that there wasn’t a meeting). Just don’t understand the politics stuff. There’s plenty of places or OT threads to post about how you feel about Obama or Trump...

Be thankful the troll isnt posting up in every thread. Looks like he is picking threads with little substance or have already derailed. Just put him on ignore. Obvious troll. Dont take the bait.

There's no reason, since he met with him a couple months ago..
Again, you can't possibly know what reasons he may have. This is another instance of you arguing for the sake of arguing. People meet with their bosses all the time far more often than every few months.

You simply have no idea. And that's OK.

First off, if you believe The Clown is credible... AFTER Dame says he's not to be believed... Well, I just got nothin' for you...

Honestly I think it’d be good for Dame to meet with PA and put pressure on him to make the team better. So if they did meet i’d Be totally ok with it. However Dame said to ignore Canzano, which like I said means either he didn’t meet with PA or that Canzano made way more out of it then there was.

Canzano is a shock jock of the lowest order, I don’t believe a word he says, and in this case Dame apparently doesn’t either...

Lillard] went to see Paul Allen again. Any truth to that, you think?

Haynes: Where did that report come from?

Jaynes: I think John Canzano reported that.

Haynes: No, he hasn’t met with Paul Allen.

Fentress: Wasn’t it the report that he requested to meet with him?

Haynes: He hasn’t met with him and he hasn’t requested it.

Jaynes: There isn’t anything to that?

Haynes: No, I haven’t heard anything like that.

Jaynes: Well, you are the Dame Whisperer.

Either
1. Haynes is lying (this board has accused him of that in the past, e.g. Batum) or
2. Lillard leaked it on purpose, to his buddy reporter, who asked no questions.

Either way, Lillard has not denied it in any way that we can verify that he really denied it,
which is how a public figure denies things to be credible.*

*Minimum: quick interview with quotes, questions preceding Lillard's answer.
Maximum: filmed, more than one reporter, questions asked after Lillard's statement.

There’s always the chance Canzano’s source was his left hand talking to his right hand. I don’t know but either way, It doesn’t really worry me that the best / highest paid employee at a company may want to meet with the owner

Now you're backtracking (covering your tracks). So you admit that we have no Lillard denial.

Go back and look at my posts and tell me where I said he denied it...

As a tortured guy, you have a nebulous, cloudy, ambiguous way of making your point. But you clearly sided with those who more firmly said Lillard had denied it. So you're their diplomatic representative. Kind of like, missionaries soften resistance, then the Cavalry massacres Indians who still resist. A good cop, bad cop interview. I'm onto you O-Livers.

Well Haynes is a much more reliable reporter than Canzano, so I'm inclined to believe him more than, Canzano. However all we have is hearsay, so I'm not denying it could have happened. I am saying that I'm fine with him meeting with PA if he wanted too, and I'm fine with him not. I have no doubt if he's healthy, Dame will be in a Blazer uniform in October...

Did you read it before you wrote it?

Your source proves you wrong.
Before you call people out maybe you should actually read the article as well "Haynes: He hasn’t met with him and he hasn’t requested it." So its you believe Haynes or you believe Canzano the person Dame called a Clown.

Cool, so not Dame saying no, but Chris Haynes
Is that your way or saying that until Dame comes out and says it himself you will continue to believe the columnist who has burned just about every bridge with the Blazers organization?

That's just a quote of a headline. You actually think that Lillard said, "Haynes: He hasn’t met with him and he hasn’t requested it." ??

You think a headline = a quote??? To repeat: Your own article explicitly says,

Lillard did not directly deny the report
