For me personally, Dame is my favorite Blazer of all time... Sabonis a close 2nd... but at the end of the day I am loyal to the team and not the players. If I am honest, I don't really want to think about that...
Truth is though, He's an NBA star, and has every right to ask for one, especially if he knows things could've been done that would've helped them win and they weren't done.
He's lobbying for someone who wants to play with him possibly...or that he thinks will make us contenders
My favorite Blazer of all time was Wes Matthews, not because of how good he was just because of the leadership, and tenacity he played with. I remember when Korver had that long streak of making a 3 pointer in a game, and matthews was EVERYWHERE he went that night and stuffed it. I love players who take pride in playing defense. For me personally, Dame is my favorite Blazer of all time... No, we don't need another ISO Player who can't shot and choke in Playoffs, we need shooters who can defend, some 3-andD Players, but not DerozanAlthough Demar DeRozan would be a great addition.
I wonder if C.J. feels slighted when he sees Dame commanding an audience with the owner.

I know this is just going to sound like me being an Olshey apologist again but I have to say it. Dame is the one who wanted to keep Davis at the deadline. Dame is the one always saying to keep Stotts. Dame is the one who's buddies with CJ and doesn't want him traded too. Dame is the one who at previous trade deadlines has lobbied for management to keep the team together.I may be naive here but the only way I see Dame asking to be traded is if he feels NO isn’t going to make the moves he believes should be made.
LMA always felt fickle to me, Dame has never felt that way, I just think he wants to make it clear he wants to win and how he thinks they can get there.
Draymond is still under contract for two more seasons. What are you talking about? He’s probably telling him to trade for his buddy Dray, who will be available if GS loses this series. Honestly, I think it’s a doable trade without giving up our backcourt or Zach. He’s regressed a bit and they aren’t gonna wanna max him.
gotcha….I mentioned earlier that he may want to keep somebody NO wants to let go or trade....at least it's something to speculate about..NO not being in the loop makes Lillard the alpha male in the room then..Lebron does shit like that all the timeMcCollum's ego is way too big. He has half the talent Lillard has, and is very expendable.
Lillard would recommend a player to the GM, not the owner, who doesn't make the trades. Lillard would only go to the owner, over the GM's head, to advocate something the GM opposes.

Or maybe he wants Paul to play guitar on his summer cd projectMcCollum's ego is way too big. He has half the talent Lillard has, and is very expendable.

I wasn’t trying to imply that’s what he was doing here. Was only saying I think the only way he would ask out is if he had a problem with something NO did in terms of building the roster.I know this is just going to sound like me being an Olshey apologist again but I have to say it. So I think it would be kinda bullshit if he then goes over Olshey's head to demand he make better moves.
But Dame can't have it both ways. He can't like everyone (seemingly) that Olshey has acquired, wanted to keep them, and then be mad that he didn't make moves for something better.I wasn’t trying to imply that’s what he was doing here. Well I don't think he was there to demand a trade, if this took place he was there to try to go over with PA how he thinks the Blazers could get better this summer. But Dame can't have it both ways. In the NBA nowadays it's important for guys like Dame to recruit. He and CJ couldn't even recruit Melo here last summer. Harden got CP3 to opt-in to his contract for less money to go to Houston.Well I don't think he was there to demand a trade, if this took place he was there to try to go over with PA how he thinks the Blazers could get better this summer.
A lot of guys on the All NBA list are on teams that are not good enough to contend...you can bet they talk after they get the nod.In the NBA nowadays it's important for guys like Dame to recruit. possibilitymy question then would be who out there share's his agent and might want to be here?
Dame & CJ are in a diff age group than Melo, Paul, Harden & others. In the NBA nowadays it's important for guys like Dame to recruit. He and CJ couldn't even recruit Melo here last summer. Harden got CP3 to opt-in to his contract for less money to go to Houston.
I'm predicting Dame the godfather has given his Blessing to trade CJDames smart, he's not expecting Neil to turn a draft pick and Evan Turner into Kawhi Leonard. He knows were in a tough spot.
I really hope so! But my fear is that he will say the opposite, to keep CJ and give them another chanceI'm predicting Dame the godfather has given his Blessing to trade CJ
