We all want the team to improve but you gotta be realistic. Draymond and a re-signed Grant doesn’t turn this team into title contenders.

If Dame’s demands cost this team Sharpe and/or Scoot, it will haunt this franchise like the Dale Davis for Jermaine O’Neal trade.

This place needs a down thumb like reddit to just send stupid shit like this into oblivion.

100%… it will damage his legacy too if he forces a trade of Sharpe/Scoot for a likely first rd exit.

I get it.

I don't get it. There's no excuse for name calling or attacking someone because you don't agree with them. If someone attacks me, I'll attack back, but I never start it.

The number of times I have wanted to call someone on this forum a fucking moron is beyond measure, but I didn't do it..... mostly because they'd probably be too stupid to think it was an insult.

I think they will try to do it without trading Sharpe or Scoot. That would not age well at all. And Dame is smart enough to know the optics of that wouldn't look good. But when the re-sign Grant and if for some reason they could add a Green, that should provide enough veteran players along with Nurk and whatever vet they sign with the vet minimum. The starting lineup was pretty good last year....when healthy. It was the bench that was brutal. Sharpe will be better off the bench, hopefully Little is healthy/healthier, and Scoot/Murray should contribute more than most of what the bench had to offer last year.

We aren't trading Scoot or Shaedon. It's a moot point.
most players get traded at some point. Maybe someday after multiple championships, All Star appearances and whatnot either or both of Scoot and Shaedon will be traded too, or not... whatever, it's just sports after all

Regardless, Dame will be among the greatest Trailblazers ever. Total stud

The Blazers refused to trade them during the draft. I don't think that's going to change now. They are part of Cronin's rebuild.

of course, but if Dame publicly opts in and then the Buck's GM calls up Joe tomorrow (or near the deadline) and wants to work out a deal landing them the Scoot & Shaedon show + filler for Giannis... plans could change

That's not happening.

Giannis is one of maybe 4 or 5 dudes that I would actually do that for.

I'm giving an obvious over the top hypothetical demonstrating that yes a GM has plans, but they have to adapt to the circumstances presented

Also, if both those two blow up early next season (which while unlikely, could happen), Portland could be justified in turning down such an offer.

I root for the team/laundry. Anyone is available for the right price

If it's Giannis you take it.

It will mortgage also Scoot/Shaedon legacy if we are forced to use future draft picks to satisfy Lillard'S will

We are hostage of Lillard, it really sucks

I would love to trade Lillard also because we would finally see who is here to root for the Portland Trail Blazers and who's a Lillard fan boy
