Dame’s back? (3 Viewers)

So what you are saying (or rather what I choose to hear) is he should be ok to stand in the corner at the end of games and either shoot a 3 or act as a decoy. Get him back on the court by April 2nd!
I’ve joked around during our games a couple times, that they should wheel him out there as an option.

NO! I don’t want to see Dame on the court for us until next preseason.

The risk could create risk, and the risk it causes could cause risk. At that point… Why risk it? If you ask me, it seems risky.
Honestly, I would just ask Dame, how do you feel? Do you want to give it a go, maybe 10-12 minutes each of the last two regular season games?

It probably won't happen, but it's not something that everyone has always said to do it just that one way. I'd be thinking what's the difference between Dame trying it out in a real game if he feels good about and his doctors do as opposed to trying it out in some pickup game maybe a month later?

My guess is that Dame says whether or not he is playing, and his participation in the 3 point contest kind of sounds to me like him saying something.

Wouldn’t expect him to play consistent minutes. But if he really wants to step out on the court in a game for spot minutes, who can actually say no?

If he’s ready to play in an NBA game, he’s ready to play. Low pressure and low demand is going to be the best way to bring him back regardless of when that is.
