I dont mean to hijack this thread and I appreciate Dame very much, without him we would be in the running for the first pick. With that said CJ deserves some appreciation too. He may not be looking great as we had hoped, but he is still is playing big for us and was a big reason as to why we won tonight while a lot of people here are sour on him.

You could start a CJ appreciation thread.

Nah doesn't really seem needed. This team is Dame and I think this is proper as is. Just think CJ, while not been spectacular, has been big for us too.

Anyway sorry for hijacking. Thank you Dame.

If you want to start a "Shrine of Of Dame and CJ" then I'm pretty sure I can donate some weekends.

Dame's 3pt Shooting Rate (how often he shoots a three pointer) is way down so far this year: last year, 41% of his shits were three pointers. So far this season? 25%

It will probably drift back up over the course of the year. He's focusing on his ability to drive and finish now, like a great football team uses the drive to open up the ability to pass later in the game. The scouting report on Dame is to body him up at the three point line, but because he's driving so much, they'll have to back off a bit, giving him room to shoot the three. He might become an unstoppable offensive player with this newfound balance.

I'm glad that the number of his shits from the 3 point line are going down. That can't be normal, or healthy.

His ability to get to the rim and finish is INCREDIBLE. The fact that he's been taking it directly at some great defensive 7-footers just adds to how incredible he's been. But what I love most is how controlled he is - unlike in years past where he'd end up on the floor after every layup attempt, I don't think he's fallen to the floor once this season.

And on top of all that, it appears his floater is a legit weapon now. That's about as offensively well-rounded as a PG can be!

3-pointer
Midrange
Floater
Layups
Dunks

Based on this I suspect he'll have a killer post-up game next season!

I think he's smart enough to understand that he needs to draw more fouls (along with improve defense) to truly become an MVP level player. He's always added something to his game in the off season. I think he's made the conscious decision to drive more.

The game seems to look so easy for him now. I think we're going to see a couple triple doubles this season... He should not be able to rebound that well. Is that a bold prediction or something other people see?
