Dame you were the best Portland Trail Blazers player ever. You were the best because you stuck with us. You were the best because you carried our flag better than any other superstar we've ever had did. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!

Thanks for the memories! Now fire your agent! I bought my first Lillard T shirt a couple of weeks ago and I plan to wear it with pride. Greatest Blazer ever! Go Blazers! I ike the Bucks so I'll be able to cheer for Dame and Pat Connaughton in Milwaukee also with Stotts on the bench as well. I'm really glad it's not Miami

Too soon for me.

Might take this season to truly accept that he's gone. His first SL game was the day I started my first real job. Always felt some kinda connection with the dude. Can't help but feel the team and circumstances beyond their control let him down. Think Paul Allen passing away was the ultimate blow to his chance at a ring here.

Milwaukee will be my team in the east. #firestotts Hope they treat him well. And hope fans outside of Portland will truly realize how amazing he is.

But also hate the sour taste left from the past two months.

It is a lot. I think that's why an appreciation thread wasn't made as soon as the trade was announced but I couldn't let it go any longer because I fucking love Dame and he has been my favorite athlete as an adult. It's a little different than Clyde when I was a kid. Dame meant and still means a lot to me. No one gave us those moments and it's sad that our management could never put the teams around him to give us those moments on the biggest of stages. I'll always appreciate what he gave all of us and couldn't wait any longer even though you're so right, it is a lot to take in.

I was sitting in Biology class as a freshman in highschool around May, showing my friends Dame’s Weber State highlights saying this guy would be the next Derrick Rose. He became that and more.

I hope to see him recreate the Lew/Oscar tandem in the 21 century and win that ring, I never got to see the first one.

So much love Dame, so much love. Now that the Heat toxicity is water under the bridge I can feel that bittersweet feeling of you leaving and all the glorious memories. 0.7, the Wave, Game 5 vs Denver, 71 last season. Almost too many moments to count. Best Blazer of all time, now you just need to complete the redemption arc and after getting your rings in Milwaukee come home and win more with Scoot and Sharpe, and then your run for Governor (you can do that, of course you need to fire Goodwin soon, but you know that.).

From 0.9 to Logo, from 61 points to shots that should have been four pointers, for his loyalty to the city and to his home town, for never causing a moment's embarrassment to franchise, for all you are, Dame, love always.

Win a ring in Milwaukee. Then spend the last year of your great career back in Portland.

My cat Lucia loved you too.

Dame Time was special! He’s going to get a ring in Brew Town. Its no longer Miller Time in Milwaukee, its Dame Time.
Thanks for years of devout loyalty!

Man it’s an end to an era, loved his time in Portland. Wished he could have won a championship here. I don’t regret anything and his moments were big so wish him all the best as a Buck

Bittersweet. Tough for me to appreciate what he accomplished here due to his behavior this summer. It's going to sting seeing him win rings elsewhere and go into the HoF as a Buck.

We will always have the Shot.

And I'm grateful to have been in the building for it.

This feels like yesterday and almost brings a tear to my eye. This was a really exciting time for me as a Blazer fan coming off from the huge letdown that was the Oden/Roy era. It was a shame that we couldn't win more with Dame, but he certainly brought us some incredible memories and when he got hot I haven't really seen anything like it before.

Thanks for everything Dame!

Bucks crowd is feisty & vibrant. I think it's a great place for Lillard to thrive. The golf claps until 8 minutes left ..... Blazer fans just haven't been excited about games in the last few years. Losing kills the crowd. Blazer fans didn't know which opponent was gonna flatten the Blazers in crunchtime. Milwaukee gets LOUD !!

so many great moments, it's hard to count all of them. Just an amazing player and for me the greatest Trail Blazer of all time. Thank you for everything Dame Dolla. Now go get a ring or two in Milwaukee and hopefully you come back for one last season to retire as a Blazer

I enjoyed his time in Portland. Thanks for that.

I did not enjoy this summer, but it is over and done for. However, as a last show of my respect, I will from now on refer to him using the nickname that he seemed to like "Miami Heat legend, Dame Lillard".

Thanks for all the great moments Dame. Appreciate the era you brought to Portland. So many buzzer beaters and crazy shots. 70 point game. Amazing is the only word that comes to mind. Tough seeing you go, but excited for the future with these new young kids.

Thanks Dame, you fought hard for a long time, got messy in the leaving but you got your shot at a ring now and I hope you get it. With Olshey frittering away your best years here that was a bummer. Was a long summer, but best of luck with Giannis and stay humble.

I am sorry Neil Olshey was the GM. Everyone and their brother knew Dame needed a near-star or star-level 2-way player after Aldridge left.

What was the closest Olshey got? Aminu? Zach Collins? Nurkic?

Certainly the greatest recently. Holds a bunch of Blazer records.
Glad I got a chance to watch him and I will continue to follow him.
