I hear you guys ( and the wife), but I think Im wired a bit differently. For example. My favorite TV show ever is West Wing. Ive watched it over half a doesnt times complete and own all the DVDS. I dont watch much tv though so my knowledge is limited.
Funny as im typing this thinking I must sound like a political square... I also own every single UFC form the first to the most recent and all the ultimate fighter seasons.

Ive tried twice on breaking bad and just didnt get it. But like you guys said, maybe I need to give it more time. I only watch the first 3-4 episodes of the first season.

For some reason, you're not alone in that. A LOT of people say they gave up in the first season because it was "too slow"

The rest of the seasons make up for that in triplicate, let me tell you.

Also, one of my favorite shows is House Of Cards... LOVE Kevin Spacey! But yeah, my show knowledge is a little limited since I don't watch much tv at all. Just netflix and Prime.

Wanna know the best part about breaking bad?

The meth has nothing to do with it. It's the "product" that moves the show, but the real goods are in the characters and the psychology.

No, you would not be "supporting" meth... TRUST ME, by the end of the show, you won't.
That is it> We learn Latino culture, Cop psyche, EGO's, Chemistry and how people rarely don't sweat in New Mexico. lol One of my favorite characters was Crazy 8

After the second try, I got into House of Cards, not because its the fast paced wittiness that West Wing has, but just the inner workings of the Gov as a whole.

Im a NG, Discovery type of guy. NOt a sitcom type of guy. but once in a while a standard show will grab me. Big fan of... oh man drawing a blank. "Leonard, he's in my seat!!!!" dammit. oh yeah... Big Bang Theory.

hahahahaha I never thought about that.

The world that Breaking Bad created is one of the best I have ever seen, as well.

I AM a House of Cards fan. This is sick but that girl who worked as a reporter and was snuffed out at the train station was annoying to me and I was glad they wrote her out of the script

And now a Pontiac Aztec is worth big bucks

Yeah, I'm not into the govt. stuff at all, but Kevin Spacey alone is the reason I watch it. He's so captivating.

What do you mean by NG, by the way? Trying to connect the abbreviation.

One of the true times I was actually shocked in a show.

Hopefully people have seen this, or... oops.

Why would you ever want a bangable girl written out of a show?

Funny. THough YEs, Spacey makes the show, I think many first tuned into the show because of her. Im with you though. Her character wasnt going to go anywhere.

National Geographic.

West Wing is damn near a parody of the Clinton Admin. Add in Reagan's assassination attempts and it basically repeats real life, but explains it in a way the media never could during situational events. Plus the show takes almost every controversial political argument and addresses it in a way that makes sense... for both sides...
Do you have a DVD player? Ill let you borrow the first season if your interested.

I think the West Wing is on Netflix... or was.

It's not really my cup of tea... I know I watched the first 3-4 episodes, and was lost. lol. House of Cards has a more fictional tone to it, which I like. The mind games and mind fuckery on that show is top notch.

It is on netflix. And it is one of those shows you cant be distracted by anything else because it moves so quick. and then you get into it and like episode 10 refers to things in episode 5. Stuff like that, so you cant just jump in the middle. And yeah West Wing starts out odd. Starts out in thier second year in the administration and then jumps back in the second and third season. I remember halfway through the first season the preview for an episode is basically going throug hthe characters as they said their name during a spot in the show, just to refresh the fans of who is who. :)

Spacey is perfect for that role. I like how he talks to the viewer

What is your take on the character Remmy?

Until close to the end of the last season, I didn't care about him... now he's gotten a bigger role... and he's grown on me. But before? He just seemed like filler..

So who is hotter speed? Lillard or elpres?

El Prez

You guys aren't watching enough Bones. Check out the first three seasons. Best TV ever, especially The Man in the Fallout Shelter (at Christmastime), Judas on a Pole (directed by David Duchovny), Aliens in a Spaceship, Man in the Bear, Woman in the Sand, The Pain in the Heart, and the Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond.

There doesn't seem to be an ulterior motive here....

Steven A Smith gives Dame some love. Has him 4th on his PG list (ahead of John Wall who most East Coast writers have too high).

No surprise to us (we have had him above Wall for some time) but this is big shift in the writing community.

Fuck that douche. I don't care if Stephen A Smith has him as #1. He's a fucking idiot.
