There is an awful lot of smoke right now for there to not be any embers.

So are people just flat out making shit up, OR is there actually something to these rumors?

Could be a bit of both. Abbott says he has a source. Is it a good source? No one knows. A source literally could be someone saying they heard something from someone who heard something.

Well that's the question. Who is spreading these rumors? Are the reporters making it up or is someone telling them? Could it be coming from Dame's agent? From other GMs?
 
To be honest, I don't even think Dame knows whether or not he wants to make a formal trade request. No doubt he's thought about it, but how is anyone supposed to know what Dame is thinking if Dame himself is not sure?
 
If Dame wanted out, he would go about the right way out of respect to the Organization and Fan's. He's just that kind of guy, dont ya think?
