Is very fucking filthy and you guys have yourself one hell of a fucking cornerstone. That's all.

We appreciate the comments and the pic, especially from rival fans.

Now, if Batum would improve just a bit more, and Lillard improves next year (which I'm sure he will), AND we draft and use our cap space intelligently, we might just have a team!

Thanks mamba. Good game. Kobe was phenomenal start to finish.

Dame makes me breath a little easier for the future. Thank God we have a budding elite PG with an elite mentality.

That last highlight... how that wasn't a foul, I'll never know.

Seriously though, half those drives by Dame were hacks on the Lakers and nothing was called. God I hate the NBA sometimes.

Wow that last highlight was amazing. We have a special player amidst us guys.

Instead of yelling "WTF" at the refs when he gets clobbered, he should just yell "WWF!"

I used to think lillard was our clutch man at the end of games. I'm starting to lean towards Matthews being that guy. I'm sure lillard will take over that reign next season though.

If you want to talk about anything involving the Rookie Wall, I think this is it. He's scouted way harder, and his long-distance clutch-time shooting has taken a nosedive. At the same time, however, he's more bold about driving the lane in crunch time and it has been paying off recently.

So yeah, he's hitting the wall, but it's in such a subtle fashion we barely notice, *AND* he's started working around it because he's self-aware and striving to improve. So impressed with his game.

Oh don't get me wrong caravan, lillard is our franchise. I was just talking about this season only. I'm so excited to see how lillard comes out next season. I think he will be even better than we ever imagined.

Interesting coincidences about Lillard's Assists: when he gets 8 or more assists, we're 14-4. Makes sense, as assists are a symptom of good shooting. When he gets exactly 6 assists, we're 6-4. Not as good, but better than our record by a decent amount. But we're (get this) 1-8 when he gets exactly 7 assists. It's so weird! I can't explain it, except that maybe they're games where that 8th assist would have put us over the top, but the shot missed.

And of course, when he gets 5 or fewer, we suck (5-14).

Agreed, and I'm not meaning to sound like a disagree with you or anything, just adding an angle.

Lillard, Matthews and Batum each can and have hit big-time difficult and clutch shots this season.

They've all hit big-time difficult clutch shots in the last 24 hours. But I do think Lillard's having a little bit of difficultly getting those crazy long threes off like he did early in the season. Better defenseive schemes on him, tired arms, whatever. He's still awesome as hell, and is clutch in other ways (driving).

It's so surprising to see a rookie guard get the kind of defensive pressure that Lillard has to face every game now, but he's dealing with it. The drives to the hoop are excellent. The defense collapses on him and he either gets fouled, makes the basket, or dishes it out to an open man. It's all good.

I just have to add that Lillard's rise to stardom will be enhanced by his good looks. It will make him more "marketable" by the league and more attractive to corporate sponsors. This was part of Jordan's success story, and it will be part of Lillard's, too.
