Pretty sure he had Plantar fasciitis problems a couple seasons ago...they say he's had inflammation so it could be his foot padding needing to not be aggravated ...just a guess but I'd say that's more likely than bone problems. something rest and ice can stop from becoming too seriousApparently, they did an x-ray on it. It came back negative but it's scary to me that they even did one. Could he be in that much pain? Yikes.
Panicking that your star player isn't at 100% is apt. Panicking because you've lost a playoff game after going 2-0 at home is hysteria.Quit Panicking Bro
Why? Dame or the NBA Restart? If this doesn't work, there won't be an NBA again til 2021 or even 2022 so if you like basketball, you should root for it. I mean if league doesn't come back til 2022, well, there goes Dame's prime.Sit out. This entire thing is a waste of time.
Um... maybe it's because these scrimmages don't matter and we aren't trying to give our opponents any video of a team that no one has ever seen play before. I'm excited for Friday. Can't Wait!!!Per OregonLive:
“Portland coach Terry Stotts announced before the game that Lillard and McCollum would sit. Stotts gave no reason for McCollum taking the day off but offered that Lillard was fine and would play Friday.
Lillard sat out the team’s scrimmage loss to Toronto on Sunday after experiencing inflammation on the bottom of his left foot.
“I think everybody is going to be ready to go on Friday,” Stotts said.”

We control our own destiny. We are 9th. The other teams have to pass us. The gain is a championship. You never waste an opportunity to win one. And that’s what we have. Also- Entertainment. Players are always “at risk” for injuries. Should we never play them? And if you’re talking about the virus, the bubble is the safest place in the country. They’re tested every day and no one (out of hundreds) has it. Only way next season happens is with a bubble too. You want to sit Dame for the rest of his prime?Because it's a farce. We won't make the playoffs. We are only putting our players at risk for literally no gain.

PF can be a real nuisance. I struggled with it during my running years and rest seemed to be the only thing that really helped.Pretty sure he had Plantar fasciitis problems a couple seasons ago...they say he's had inflammation so it could be his foot padding needing to not be aggravated ...just a guess but I'd say that's more likely than bone problems. something rest and ice can stop from becoming too serious
since when is 9th seed a playoff spot? Dont we need to pass another team to make the playoffs? not other teams have to pass us?
I don’t know if this is correct but my son told me that if the 9th seed is within 4 games of the 8th seed they have a mini two-game playoff between 9th and 8th. The 9th seed has to win both games to get in.
This is correct, your son is right but I'm not sure that matters to @Orion Bailey because according to him "It's not happening."I don’t know if this is correct but my son told me that if the 9th seed is within 4 games of the 8th seed they have a mini two-game playoff between 9th and 8th. I thought it was within two games, but I believe you are right. Either way. If we are in 9th, we still need to pass whoever is in 8th, to get to the 8th. That includes passing them by beating them in the play in.
It's definitely within 4 games but do you think we'll get there?I thought it was within two games, but I believe you are right. Either way. If we are in 9th, we still need to pass whoever is in 8th, to get to the 8th. That includes passing them by beating them in the play in.

Oh, I think we have a great shot at making it into the playoffs. I was referring to @Orion Bailey 's prediction that the bubble will burst and the whole restart will be canceled.I’m not that hopeful either, but even if we go 1-3 why not keep trying as long as we’re within striking distance of 8th. With the bottom 1/3 of the league out everyone has a tough schedule. The Blazers tend to play up to (and down) their opponents. So we got a shot if we can stay completely healthy.

I know you do. I thought “It’s not happening” was referring to our chances of making the playoffs. My “I’m not hopeful either” was in additional to Orion Bailey not being hopeful about our chances.
With regards to the Blazer's, its a brutal schedule and I dont know if I would be hopeful normally, but the way things have come to be, I am actually hopeful and believe that if the season does complete, we will see ourselves in the playoffs.Nah, My "not happenin" is about the season and actually having a team cross the finish line and get a ring. Though my definitive stance is now wavering. With regards to the Blazer's, its a brutal schedule and I dont know if I would be hopeful normally, but the way things have come to be, I am actually hopeful and believe that if the season does complete, we will see ourselves in the playoffs.
But we should drop the not happenin. I mean a good person actually got so pissed, he left the forum because of it. Had no idea it could piss off so many so quickly.

Tie breakers are based on winning percentage. We are solely in 9th right now. We control our own destiny. If we win all our games, it doesn't matter if New Orleans wins all their games too. We would place ahead of them.yeah, the games-behind (or games-ahead) is supposedly the controlling factor. Here are current standings and Portland's schedule:

a few things to note:
* currently, Blazers are ahead, barely, of the Pels and Kings based upon winning percentage. But I read somewhere that because teams have played different numbers of games, winning percentages were NOT going to be used in tie-breakers.
* in a way, Portland is disadvantaged because they only play one game against a team it is competing with for the 8th seed, and that's Friday against Memphis. If Memphis wins that game, Portland is in a tough spot.
* the Blazers are already in a tough spot because 7 of their 8 games are against teams with better records, and 6 are against teams with winning records. Memphis has 5 games against winning teams with better records.
* New Orleans is maybe a bigger threat to Portland than Memphis. The Pels own the tie-breaker against Portland and are tied in games-behind. And while the Blazers have 6 games against teams with winning records, the Pels only have 2
