...not sure if this has been posted/shared elsewhere in here, but this article offers surprising insight (considering the source) into the the new "re-built" roster for the Blazers. Hopefully it is someone that is NOT on this list -- check it out!

Who on Trail Blazers' Rebuilt Roster Can Become Damian Lillard's Sidekick?
By Joshua J Vannuccini, Featured Columnist Jul 8, 2015

It's safe to say the Portland Trail Blazers' offseason didn't go as planned, but they still came away a winner.

That's a pretty optimistic thing to say about a team that lost one of its all-time greatest players and four-fifths of its starting lineup. But general manager Neil Olshey was able to position the Blazers with a number of youthful players to surround the newly anointed and contractually extended franchise star, Damian Lillard.

As Portland rebuilds itself the traditional way, by developing assets over adding established free agents, someone must emerge to become the Robin to Lillard's Batman when this team grows to contend for a championship.

With the Blazers' new look, there's already a number of candidates.

That quite a line right there. The franchise Star, who just shot .116 with three ball in the first round while shooting enough of them to blow any chance the Blazers had.
How the hell does this rate Star Billing?

Or we could have just held on to both of those guys...

Yes, that one.

well, who else on this roster is more of a star. also, pointing to a bad 5 games in which no one else really played all that well either, rather than looking at his entire body of work is very lame.

The Lillard hate is strong with this one...

Without Lillard there are no playoffs....

And the cesspool of negativity speaks again....

Feel Olshey's genius ooze out of the toothpaste tube. The idea is that by taking away all of his teammates, Lillard's talent will be squeezed out of the hiding that it has been in since his great rookie year.

Similarly, if this board got rid of all posters except me, I would be forced to return to my small-board ESPN leadership, instead of resting while the rest of you carry the board.

Lillard moves from being a small fish in a lake to a big fish in a pond. Addition by subtraction. Fill in other clichés here.____

Dude, I was with you on ESPN and I have to say that you managed very well to keep your leadership skills on the QT.

i do believe that we are heading into LillardTime Era. i think this team was built around our big 3 in dame, 3j, and meyers legend. i think dame's sidekick will be meyers legend since dame has always likes his game, even dame wanted meyers to play with him before we drafted meyers in 2012.

The quick answer is CJ but something tells me this guy will make things interesting.Pat Connaughton.jpg
Pat Connaughton has all the tools and a huge upside. Not only that but he is a Baseball pitcher. There is no bigger pressure situation than pitching. He will have ice in his veins.

Pat " Clutch" Connaughton could be very special for Portland and Lillard.

Hey cue ball! Answer the question. How the hell is this chucker a star? You blind mindless supporters have no answer, just attack the poster.

The only stat this guy leads in, is three pointers attempted.

LMAO at your sample size of hatred, Mcdonalds drive through memory. Youve got to be pulling my leg. Your not really this negative and blind are you? Superstar? not yet. Allstar,? 2 of 3 years now. Star? Absolutely!!! His clutch shooting so far in his career is enough to make him a star. Watch some clips. Do some career stats vs the greats. He has done some things very few have and a few things no one has.

Are you really a Blazer fan or just a troll that likes to rile up anything positive?
