One of Hip Hop’s most influential emcees is presently in critical condition, several sources say. Guru, one half of pioneering ’80s, ’90s and ’00s Brooklyn-based Hip Hop group Gang Starr suffered a heart attack this weekend, according to the emcee and producer’s sister.

Man, the thought of Guru dying is a thought that can bring the hardest Hip-Hop head to tears! Dude is an OG! I'm getting some rumors suggesting that Guru may really not be out of his coma yet! I mean, this is nothing to really concern yourself with. I'm going to trust that the statements are all on the up and up and that he's well. I'm happy to still have Bald Head Slick in the land of the living. Keep me abreast of the rumors though. Nothing needs to get past us on this! LONG LIVE GURU!
