so for guys that look at box scores...that play just now where Oden went up between 3 guys and tried to put the tip in? That looks like 0-1 and a rebound. However, I'll take that energy and "beastiness" all night.

Exactly my point. It's not like Oden is bricking dunking attempts or baby hooks out of set plays. He's crashing the boards and hustling after the ball to keep possessions alive ... it's just tough to put it in when he's getting mugged more than a Central Park hooker.

If getting rid of Miller would get Roy to pass to Oden and be his old self I would say Andre better be packed on December 15th. If Miller goes and Roy still is...off...I'm gonna be worried. Roy needs to pass to Oden more it's driving me nuts. Right now the chemistry of this team is just plain awful. It seems like Oden is the only guy who is bringing it night in and night out with maybe one or two exceptions. Przybilla, Blake and Roy are all playing much worse then last year. Webster is his old flash in the pan self and Miller looks like Nate has broken him. Oden's emergence makes me joyful, but MAN is this team in disarray.

We're not even competing. I actually bought plane tickets to Cleveland to see them play the Cavs next week. Waste of money. Outlaw was soooo valuable to this team.

What would Outlaw have done tonight that Howard and Cunningham haven't? Unless you're talking about general malaise of the team?

EDIT: Besides miss a breakaway dunk

Maris, I don't know if you can get the web stream at the Blazers' site, but for 4 bucks a game this is the 3rd time I've watched it and it's pretty decent.

At $4 a game I'll survive on bootleg streams or just not watch.

This team isn't worth anywhere close to $4 a game, to me anyway.

Hopefully they'll make the effort to improve, but it's hard to recover from bad personnel moves.

I'd like to point out that the ref's have not called a foul on Oden since Nate got a T. Had he been doing this the whole year, as he should have been, Oden and the Blazers would be better for it.

Honestly, most of the Blazers are driving to the basket hard, just not getting the ball in and not getting the calls.

Yes, that must be it.

Thanks for your worldly wisdom but please don't waste it here. There are so many unsolved crimes. Go, go, for the good of the city!

I had such high hopes after the Chicago game. That game gave me chills.

Heat not playing well this quarter. This is the kind of game we would have come back and won last year. But not this year. Ugg, I don't know why I spend 2.5 hours watching these guys every game.

By the time these guys get their act together (if they ever do) we'll probably only be able to eek out an 7th or 8th seed. Oh well, I guess it would be cool if we could possibly take get hot at the end of the year, and take the Lakers to game 7 in the 1st round.

I like how Greg pretty much put a foul clinic on their frontline in the third and the start of the 4th and then we're like "Nah, no more big guy."

can we not please get Oden the ball? For the coaches out there better than me, isn't one of the best ways to come back scoring with the clock not running?

If we somehow manage to come back every one in that locker room should be giving Greg freebies in the shower.

Yeah Eric, you're right Oden didn't come to play ... You're unbelievable.

"How about Greg Oden tonight? 13 points. 18 rebounds. 4 blocked shots". --Mike Barrett, 9:16pm 12/1/09

Howard is more than making up for Aldridge's production.

No he is not. Aldridge does more that put stats on the board, he draws the defense and makes the offense easier for the other players on the court.
