Darius Miles out for season

This is good and bad for the Blazers.

Good
- He's a cancer and won't be around as much.
- Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw will get a lot of time.

Bad
- He's the 2nd best player on the team.

While I dislike Miles' attitude and work ethic, I definitely don't want to see him hurt. That does suck. However, I am happy Martell Webster will see more playing time, he has real potential.

Another "victim" to microfracture knee surgery... this really hurts the Blazers. They may have been able to trade for him before, and possibly got decent value in return, but now no general manager in his right mind is going to trade for a cancerous small forward coming off of microfracture knee surgery (except for a dumbass like Billy King of course).

Miles is a cancer and he won't be missed. The team is 5-6, granted it's not the greatest start in the world, it is however a better start than everyone expected out of this team. They just folded over last year and were saying both Miles and Randolph wouldn't even return this year. Miles also was out of shape and overweight when he showed up at training camp. This guy is apathetic, any player that takes his jersey off during the midlde of a game and changes into street clothes deserves to be out for the season. This also springs up more time for Travis Outlaw, who has had some good games this year. The only real big problem with Miles is that he's making a lot of money and Portland has a couple of VERY bad contracts.

The Blazers should start talking buyout here. I think Miles might accept one because he knows he's not in their plans and maybe he wants to play basketball.....hahaha couldn't say that with a straight face. Maybe he has a future in acting, he was in that movie.

I think they should buy him out as well... Good riddance, and clear the way for the young guys to take over and get some experience.

Miles is an amazing athlete and his is exciting to watch. He has good height also. But I can never see him touching a basketball in the NBA ever again. Portland has a good future and doesn't want to spoil it by introducing the cancer Miles.
