A draft "insider" had an AMA yesterday on Reddit and said the same thing. He loves the potential of a Lillard/McCollum backcourt.

Speakin of CJ: Lots of Dame name drops.

I like this kid too. If not for Oladipo, I'll be okay with CJ.

Andrew Wiggins time, baby

Wiggins will want out after his first contract, though. May as well trade the #1 2014 overall pick to be sure that doesn't happen after LMA is traded this summer.

arent you rock hard boner for lotto picks?

do you not like mccollum or something?

I like him fine. Youi win with defense and stars. McCollum isn't defensive, and he doesn't have star potential

The Warriors went far with this same build, didn't they? Curry and Monta? Oh wait...... no they didn't.

San Antonio didn't win anything with Parker and Ginobli. Oh wait..

............

Tony Parker 6'2
Manu Ginobili 6'5

Dame Lillard 6'3
CJ McCollum 6'3

Steph Curry 6'3
Monta Ellis 6'3

I fail to see your comparison.

There is no one player in this draft who will single-handedly fix all the team's problems. That doesn't mean you turn your back on a player who can be *part* of the solution.

I was talking about a 3-guard rotation. I wasn't talking about starting 2 6'3" guys. In fact, I said earlier that if you are interested in a future starting 2-guard, we should draft Pope.

I've said it before with McCollum and I'll say it again...He's too undersized to be a starting 2 guard.

We don't need him to be a starter. A 25-30mpg third guard who can just get buckets at will is what we need.

We don't need him to be a starter.

If we draft a SG at #10, we should really be hoping he can step into the starting role in the near term. Matthews doesn't really thrive with Lillard in the backcourt IMHO. I'd look to see if we can trade him or get him to the bench as soon as possible.

Yes he does. A spot shooter and good defender is what Lillard needs around him. Thats what Matthews does.

I don't want to draft a duplicate of Lillard. That just seems stupid to me. And this isn't a Telfair/Chris Paul thing again. If someone can honestly argue that McCollum is a better player than Lillard, so be it, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
