Huh? The article says nothing about his sexuality. That sucks.
On a semi related note, I never knew he was gay (nor does it matter to me that he's gay).

I suppose not, but you didn’t say you had found other articles about him. You seemed to be reacting to this article. There are other articles about him you know. http://www.newnownext.com/david-ogden-stiers-mash-beauty-and-the-beast-dead/03/2018/
I did some looking into his career and it's not hard to find an article about his sexuality.

Semi-related to the news of his death? What part of 'ON A SEMI RELATED NOTE' confused you?
Semi-related to the news of his death?
I thought it was confusing to bring up his sexuality.

Tl;drYeah, semi related since he died, and he was gay. Like if someone famous dies, and you do some looking into their lives and find out they gave away their earnings to charity, or they adopted children from impoverished areas. It's interesting and is "semi related" to the actor, and their death.
Had he not died, I wouldn't have looked into more about him (I knew he was from Oregon, but I didn't know he died and lived in Newport). So I found out this information.
It's not like I said "ZOMG guys, I found he was gay! That's so gross! Can you fucking believe it!?"
I said I never knew he was gay. I know we all want to be like "ones sexuality shouldn't matter", but that would be relevant had I brought it up in a tabloidy way. I read some of his bio, and found out that he feared he'd get some backlash for being gay, and hid that information for a long time (not coming out until 2009 iirc).
