I’m not going to go overboard here but after watching two scrimmages — and Coach Nate McMillan was very generous Thursday, by the way, giving us a pretty long look at an officiated one — I think I can say for sure that a lot of what’s being said about Greg Oden is true.

He’s running better, for sure. He seems to jump well. He’s being aggressive and much more annimated with his teammates. He’s finished his chances around the basket and looks more comfortable on the floor. I don’t see a lot of the awkwardness we saw last season. It’s all good so far — I just want to wait a little bit longer before going too nuts about it.

It's encouraging to not just hear it from the team, but from the media as well. I can't wait until Tuesday! Usually I don't care about preseason games, but this is one I look forward to!

I think his offseason girlfriend has done a number on his attitude. That's a good thing. For him, attitude might be everything.
