Prediction:

We're going to wake up one morning and find out that while Ivanka was away on business, Kushner has taken his 3 kids to Moscow, ending up in the same hotel as Snowden. There will be no comment from him, leading to wild speculation by the press. Trump will acted shocked but use this to make Kushner the fall guy. He will offer Kushner a pardon for return of the kids, then declare the Russian investigation is over and takes steps to fire Rosenstein and Mueller.

The kids are key. It gives Trump a reason to act. "To save his grandkids!"

It also highlights the difference between Hillary and Trump. Have you seen Hillary's grandkids? Of course not, she's eaten them.

When it comes to mass media, someone, somewhere is going to be editing the thousands of "newsworthy" things that happen every day in every town across America and the world and distilling it into an hour, or a 2-minute clip, or whatever. WaPost recently wrote an article about how 4 nations talked about compromising Kushner because of some business deals. Buried 15 paragraphs into the article, they wrote that it is typical of foreign nations to try to compromise anyone they can for whatever reason they can. The article suggested Kushner was some sort of special case or somehow more subject to such compromise. The truth is that there's nothing to the story at all. When called on it, WaPost will say, "we did write that in the article."

CNN does it all the time. 24 hours of some hair on fire thing. 1 minute of telling the truth. When called on it, they show that 1 minute clip and say, "we did cover this legitimately."

The demand for this investigation was driven by the howling hordes of bitter Democrats in Congress and their allies at The New York Times, the Washington Post, and CNN, all of which have been nothing but lackies for the Democrats ever since the election. Yes, Mueller is a Republican, but all 16 of the lawyers working under him are either Democrats or independents. Not a single registered Republican in the bunch. And Mueller is as”establishment” as they come, which means he is no friend of Donald Trump.

And why do you think that is? Answer - It's because the news doesn't jive with their fantasy. News that typically goes through a serious review process in a credible news-source, often requiring multiple credible sources saying the same thing. Still, the closer to the truth the farther from their fantasies.

It really isn't hard to make Trump look terrible and be accurate but nobody seems to feel the need.

But lawmakers say the FBI didn’t tell Congress about Downer’s prior connection to the Clinton Foundation. Republicans say they are concerned the new information means nearly all of the early evidence the FBI used to justify its election-year probe of Trump came from sources supportive of the Clintons, including the controversial Steele dossier.

“The Clintons’ tentacles go everywhere. So, that’s why it’s important,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) chairman of a House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee that has been taking an increasingly visible role defending the Trump administration in the Russia probe. “We continue to get new information every week it seems that sort of underscores the fact that the FBI hasn’t been square with us.”

Spokesman for the FBI and Russia special counsel Robert Mueller declined comment.

Intriguing that the FBI and the special counsel have a common spokesmen.

But no comment again. One year now and not much comment on anything. How long does this thing run? If Trump is defeated, does it end?
If Trump wins reelection, does he (the special counsel) continue. Does it continue into the term of the next President? To what purpose?
 
So not only did this Aussie diplomat report potential criminal behavior to the proper authorities, he also helped arrange funding for treating AIDS patients?

It continues indefinitely because it’s the only hope Democrats have. If they cannot get rid of him, they will all want to slit their wrists.
