Snoop Dog is really pushing him hard to Oregon though, so you never know.
huh?
I've heard that and read that about his son... but this is the first I've heard of Snoop wanting his son to go there. But I was always under the impression that Snoop was a big SC fan. I.e. the Larry King interview from the recruiting thread.
Snoop and his son are both huge Ducks fans. His son especially is pushing him hard to go to Oregon because his son wants to play here also
Can't wait to see Snoop chilling with Uncle Phil on the sidelines... thats going to be a priceless advert for the program
btw... DT's Black Mamba nickname that Snoop gave him while playing Pop Warner predates Kobe anointing himself with the same nickname. I recall when Kobe did that... what sort of douchebag gives themselves a nickname? Turns out it's the same sort of douchebag who would take something from a child.

play here?
In Texas?
either you've got the wrong Thomas or the wrong site. Rivals lists him as a 5 star athlete and at 5'9Rivals has Thomas as a 4 star WR. They also list him at 6'. So much variance of opinions and data. In the end, I think it comes down to trusting our scouts and recruiting staff - that this kid is a good fit for the program needs.
did you see the video link I posted in the main recruiting thread? Here it is again. Dude was balling his eyes out and could barely hold it together as he announced. In the accompanying article he claims to have received 100+ phone calls that day, presumably many of which were not congratulatory in nature. I don't think him being late had anything to do with disrespecting fans and media but rather a reflection of the sort of day he had endured.I could list many, many top 10 CB's, WR's, who never made the impact billed. Hope this kid isn't one of them, but I'm not impressed with the drama and him being late to the announcement. He better be more respectful to the Oregon staff than he was to the reporters and fans awaiting his decision.
Nice sign. Good prospect. A lot to prove.
?Sorry, man. I was confusing his stats w/ Devon Blackmon - a guy I'm pretty excited about.
you and Kelly. Pretty much their only real burner at WR last year was Huff and he was a backup. All 4 of the newly signed WRs can fly + Huff & Lowe from last year. Not sure if they both stay at TE, but Colt is fast and French is even faster. Brandon Williams missed much of last year with a broken hand, but he can really move for a TE too.I was confusing his stats w/ Devon Blackmon - a guy I'm pretty excited about.

Oregon played last year with speed in their tempo and coming out of the backfield, but next year they add it to their receiving core as well... Kelly gets to spread teams out that much more. Their lines are getting bigger on both sides of the ball, their QB has a year of experience under his belt, their Heisman finalist RB is back with a slew of highly touted guys behind him... they might be okay next season

good luck with thatI want to temper my excitement. Look at Alabama... they brought back their Heisman winner and a lot of the team that won the natty.....
